Jisung pov.
I was walking down the hallway when I noticed Felix talking to some unfamiliar guy. At first glance, he seemed like a nice guy, but something about his behavior gave me bad vibes. Next to them stood Hyunjin, deep in thought and quiet as always, but his posture spoke volumes. His shoulders were tense, and his gaze was uncertain.
I approached closer, and Felix spotted me with a smile that quickly faded when he realized I was watching the whole situation. He wanted to introduce me to the guy, but I pulled him aside first.
“What are you doing, Felix? Who is this guy? Why is he hanging out with you?” I asked, unable to hold back my frustration.
Felix looked at me with slight surprise, but then his brows furrowed.
“He’s just a friend of mine. Chill out,” he replied, but I couldn’t control myself.
“I can see how Hyunjin is acting. Don’t you notice that?” I couldn’t believe Felix was so blind.
“Hyunjin? He’s fine,” Felix said, but a hint of doubt crept into his voice.
“Who is he to you?” I asked, feeling the need to know.
“A friend,” Felix answered, but something in his tone made me doubt what he was saying.
“I’ve got to go,” he said before returning to the guys.
Standing there, watching them, I couldn’t shake the thought: How could this idiot not see it?

I stood in the hallway, curiously watching Felix talk to the new guy. I had no idea what I was doing there. I noticed that Hyunjin, standing nearby, looked increasingly tense. As his friend, I knew something was wrong, so I decided to step closer, feeling that things could spiral out of control.
That’s when I heard the new guy, trying to stir things up, say to Felix:
“You know, Hyunjin isn’t too happy about you spending time with me, right?”
Felix froze, and his smile disappeared instantly.
“What? Did Hyunjin say that?” he asked, disbelief evident in his voice.
The new guy shrugged, and I felt the atmosphere grow increasingly tense. What the hell was this guy talking about?
“Well, you know, I just heard that. Maybe he doesn’t want you getting too close to other people.”
I watched as Felix, seeing the look on Hyunjin’s face, started to lose his confidence. His eyes sparkled, and anger gradually grew stronger.
“Hyunjin, is it true? You don’t want me spending time with someone else?” he asked, stepping towards him.
Hyunjin looked clearly surprised. I was too.
“What are you talking about? I didn’t say anything like that!”
Felix wasn’t about to back down.
“But he said you don’t want me talking to him!” His voice was getting louder, and his eyes showed clear disappointment. “This isn’t fair! I thought you cared about our friendship, and you’re just pushing me away!”
I listened to their argument with growing anxiety. Felix had known him for maybe a day, and he was already siding with him.
“Felix, I’m not pushing you away!” Hyunjin shouted, his frustration evident. “That’s not true! Don’t trust him!”
“Or maybe you don’t want me around because you prefer spending time with someone else?” Felix shot back, his anger so intense that I was surprised how easily he gave in. “Maybe the new guy is right!”
I felt the situation spiraling out of control. I tried to calm them down, but my words seemed to vanish into thin air.
“Alright, guys, calm down!” I said, but it looked like nobody was listening.
“Really, Hyunjin?” Felix looked at him with pain in his eyes. “I thought we were friends, and now I feel like I’m in the way!”
“You don’t understand! That’s not true!” Hyunjin was getting more agitated. “It’s not that I don’t want you to spend time with others! I want you to be happy, but I don’t understand why you believed that guy!”
“Because I don’t see your support, Hyunjin!” Felix screamed, his voice trembling. “I feel like you’re jealous and don’t want me to have other friends!”
I could feel the air thickening with tension. It was hard to bear.
“It’s not that I’m pushing him away, Felix!” Hyunjin was clearly frustrated. “I want you to have friends, but not like this!”
Felix glared at him in anger.
“Maybe you need to think about that!” he retorted and turned away, leaving Hyunjin standing there, shocked and lost.
I looked at both of them, feeling like everything was falling apart. I had the impression that this new guy had introduced a misunderstanding that could destroy their friendship. From the beginning, something felt off.
