Changbin pov.
We are returning to the precinct, and our boss, Commissioner Park, is waiting for us impatiently. He starts asking how it went.“So, what did you find out?” he asks seriously.
“From what we managed to gather, the missing person was last seen at Chan’s party” I reply.
“Chan? What does he know about this?”
“Well, he only saw that person twice, coming in and out of the party. He really has no connection to them” I say, shrugging my shoulders.
The boss looks at me with a mix of impatience and disbelief.
“So, from what you’re saying, we have little to go on. We need to figure this out somehow” he says, shaking his head.
“Yeah, we need to gather more information. Maybe someone else at the party saw something more.”
The boss nods, signaling that there's no time to waste.

Felix pov.
I was sitting in class when our homeroom teacher, Mrs. Kowalska, started the lesson. She looked slightly worried.“Good morning, everyone. Today we will have guests” she said, looking at us seriously. “The police will come to discuss a matter that occurred during the last party. In connection with the missing person, they want to talk to anyone who might have seen something.”
Jisung, sitting next to me, furrowed his brow. At one point, the classroom door opened, and police officers in uniforms walked in. Their presence created an atmosphere of tension in the class.
“Good morning” one of them began, his voice firm but friendly. “I am Commissioner Seo Changbin, and this is my partner, Officer Lee Minho. We are here to discuss the recent party.”
I noticed Jisung looking around, so I whispered:
“Aren’t they the same ones who came during the party?”
“I don’t know, but that Officer Lee Minho is quite handsome” Jisung replied, glancing at Minho with a broad smile.
Right after that, Changbin continued:
“We want to understand what happened and whether any of you might have noticed something unusual.”
Meanwhile, Jisung leaned in my direction:
“Felix, come on, this might be an interesting opportunity to find out what happened.”
“Jisung, this isn’t the time for love affairs” I whispered.
“You always say that. You never know how to have fun, you’re so boring” he shot back with a smile, and I couldn’t help but laugh.
In the meantime, Changbin and Minho started explaining the situation and asking questions, and I tried to focus on their words. Even though Jisung was distracted, I knew this lesson could be important for all of us.

We were approaching the end of the lesson. The police were about to say goodbye, and Jisung was sitting next to me, clearly excited. Changbin looked at the class and asked if there were any questions.
Jisung immediately raised his hand, which surprised me. Minho, smiling, turned toward him.
“Would you like to discuss something from the party? Maybe you have some information?” he asked, looking at Jisung with interest.
“No, but I would love to discuss personal matters” Jisung replied, smiling flirtatiously.
Minho looked at him, clearly taken aback. He didn’t know how to respond, and I couldn’t help but laugh.
“Jisung, don’t overdo it!” I scolded him, trying to salvage the situation.
Jisung made an innocent face. “What? I’m just trying to be nice.
At that moment, Changbin, sensing the awkward atmosphere, decided to save the situation.
“If anyone has any information, please come forward to the precinct. You can also stay after class, and we will be here for a while longer” he said, and everyone breathed a sigh of relief.
Minho looked gratefully at Changbin, and Jisung shrugged, returning to normalcy. The whole class started to disperse, but I was still thinking about what had happened.
We left the classroom, and in the hallway, we saw the police officers talking to some girl. From a distance, I noticed Minho watching us, and his gaze seemed to be serious.
Jisung, seeing Minho, started scheming again. His smile had that familiar mischievous look that always signaled trouble. Before he could say anything, I pulled him by the sleeve, trying to stop him.
“Jisung, don’t do it” I whispered, and he looked at me incredulously.
“But he’s so handsome, Felix! I can’t just walk past this!”
“Maybe so, but it’s not the best time. We need to get out of here” I replied, pulling him toward the exit.
Finally, as we passed them, I heard Minho say something to his partner. My heart raced as it dawned on me that we still couldn’t shake off that incident from the party. I decided that I needed to talk to Jisung about everything, but first, we had to escape this situation.
We stepped outside, but my anxiety about what had happened at the party continued to weigh on me.

Jisung and I were walking home, and his excitement seemed endless. He kept going on about how handsome Minho was. He talked about how well that uniform suited him, how confident he looked in it, and how his demeanor only emphasized that impression. Jisung became more and more enthusiastic with each sentence, as if he were in love.
“Felix, you have to admit he’s the perfect type! And that smile…” he said, and I just nodded, as I had completely different thoughts at that moment.
A notification popped up on my phone. It was a text from Hyunjin. I immediately focused all my attention on the message, tilting my head to see what he wrote. Jisung was saying something about how Minho looked during the lesson, but his words stopped registering for me.
“Jisung, you know he really is…” I tried to respond somehow, but I didn’t want to discourage him too much. “I think you should let it go.”
But Jisung kept heating up the topic, enthusiastically recounting all the details that had lost their significance for me. “You really have to see it, Felix! Maybe we should try to get to know him somehow?” he suggested.
In the meantime, I continued checking Hyunjin's messages, eagerly awaiting more. My mind was a mix of thoughts, where Minho and his uniform blended with my concerns and questions that had been bothering me since the party.
“Jisung, seriously, stop! Let’s go home, we can talk about this later” I said, trying to return to reality. I didn’t want his fascination to overwhelm me; I just wanted to find out what Hyunjin had to say.
🕸️🕸️🕸️Movie suggestion: Hotel Transylvania (2012) or Goosebumbps (2015)
I personally prefer Goosebumps, but who cares
