Jisung pov.
Sitting in my room with my phone to my ear, I was trying to explain to Felix how wrong he was. The conversation was tense, but I knew I had to tell him.

“Felix, you can’t think like that! Hyunjin hasn’t done anything wrong. The guy you were talking to isn’t a friend. He’s some kind of manipulator,” I started, trying to sound as convincing as possible.

Felix sighed in response, and I could imagine him rolling his eyes.

“But he told me that Hyunjin doesn’t want to spend time with me at all. That he prefers to be with someone else…” he replied, his voice filled with anger and hurt.

“Don’t believe him!” I responded, feeling frustration build up. “That’s just one conversation! You can’t judge Hyunjin based on what some guy you’ve known for barely a day says! He’s trying, and that guy just wants to turn you against each other!”

“And what if he’s right?” he asked, causing a pang of fear in my heart.

“Felix, you can’t think like that! That guy just wants to draw out what you really feel about Hyunjin. You know how much you like each other. Don’t let some stranger ruin your friendship!”

“But what am I supposed to do?” he asked helplessly.

“When you get to school, just look at them. See how they behave. You’ll know who to go to and who’s the one for you,” I said, trying to be as optimistic as possible.

After a while, we both became a bit nicer, as if we understood that we didn’t want to argue. We started joking about our weekend plans, but soon I had to end the call.

“Okay, I have to go now. See you at school, Lix!”

“Later, Ji.”

I hung up, but at that moment I heard some strange noise coming from the hallway. Curious, I approached the door to check what was happening. When I opened it, I suddenly felt a strong grip on my shoulder.

And suddenly everything vanished into darkness.

Hyunjin pov.
I was walking down the hallway, thoughts swirling in my head, and a feeling of unease was growing. I couldn’t understand what was happening with Felix and why this new acquaintance had suddenly caused chaos in our relationships. I wanted to talk to him, but at that moment something caught my attention. I stopped, hearing a familiar voice.

I approached the small door leading to the adjacent room, trying to be quiet. Through the crack, I saw two boys whispering to each other.

“Everything is going according to plan,” one of them said, sending a cold shiver down my spine. “Felix has fallen for it. We managed to turn them against each other; now we just need to deal with the rest.”

My heart sank. What was going on? Someone was manipulating my friend, and I felt like I had no idea how to stop it.

“We just have to wait until Hyunjin gets lost,” the second voice added, and I was sure it was the guy I’d seen with Felix. What was he planning?

I tried to back away, but suddenly I tripped over my own feet, making a loud noise. At that moment, their gazes turned towards me. I caught my breath but didn’t have time to escape.

“What was that?” I heard as the door opened.

I soon found myself face to face with the two boys, and their expressions did not bode well.

“Hey, what are you doing here?” one of them asked, stepping closer to me.

I felt adrenaline start to course through my veins. “I didn’t mean to interrupt,” I said, but I knew it didn’t matter.

They moved even closer, and I felt I had no way out. “Looks like we need to talk to you,” the second boy said, and I realized I was in serious trouble.

I could feel the tension in the air rising, and my heart was beating faster.

I was walking through the school hallways, feeling overwhelmed by the daily routine. Students were bustling around, and the sounds of conversations and laughter filled the air. Suddenly, a loud argument caught my attention from the other end of the hallway.

I blinked in surprise as I saw Hyunjin being dragged by two boys who looked aggressive. I quickened my pace, my heart racing as I approached.

“What’s happening?!” I shouted, trying to get closer to the situation.

Hyunjin looked towards me with a terrified expression, as if he wanted to say something but didn’t have the chance. When the boy disappeared behind the door, I felt something snap inside me.

“Leave him alone!” I yelled, moving closer to the group.

As I reached the door, Hyunjin was trying to explain something, but his words were drowned out by the laughter and sarcastic comments of his so-called “friends.” I noticed that one of them was Yuto.

“You wouldn’t believe him, would you?” Yuto said, his tone filled with mockery.

At that moment, I remembered Jisung’s words: “When you get to school and see them both, you’ll know who to go to and who’s the one.”

I stood frozen in place, anger boiling inside me. What was happening was unacceptable. A picture of Hyunjin and the fleeting fear that accompanied him filled my mind.

“Get the fuck out!”
