Big Time Hangout

Part 10

We were each captains and started to pick our teams. Once the last person was picked one of the employee's started to explain the rules and gave us five minutes to get our hiding places.

Kendall managed to take out my entire team except for me in a matter of minutes. I was contemplating making a run for it, but I knew if I moved he would know where to find me, so I just stayed low and didn't move. I heard him coming closer and thought to myself, I have to find an easy way to get to him.

I hesitantly hollered, "Kendall I'm hurt. I'm going to come out but please don't shoot me. I need your help." I said with an evil grin that he couldn't see.

Kendall said, "Are you okay?" I could hear the panic in his voice, "Where are you? I will come get you."

I slowly stood up and he started to rush to me. Just as he was in firing range I unloaded on him. He fell to the ground and wasn't moving. I started to laugh, "Gotcha!" I shouted running over to him. I got to him and realized he wasn't moving, and his eyes were closed. I leaned down, "Kendall?" but still no response. I started to panic, "Help! Someone HELP!"

I heard Kendall at the same time he grabbed me pulling me on top of him, "I will help you." he said laughing.

I hit him playfully, "Are you crazy? I thought you were really hurt."

He laughed, "Well you ambushed me, so I thought it was only fair. Let's grab some lunch." he said getting up.

We had some lunch and spent the rest of the day walking around playing games and just talking. It was really an awesome day.

Kendall said, "We have to get you back for your date with James tonight." he said.

I rolled my eyes, and he laughed, "You should really give him a chance. I know I'm always on him, but he really is a good guy."

We got back to the hotel, and I had just enough time to change before I had to leave with James. Katie was dying to know about my day with Kendall, but I didn't have time to tell her before I was out the door.

The limo took James and I to a small beach and as we pulled up in the parking lot I noticed a really large billboard facing the ocean.

I laughed, "Well that's just stupid."

James smiled at me, "What is that?" He asked.

I couldn't help but look at him crazy, "Well I mean who can read a billboard when they are out to sea?"

He took my hand, "That is no billboard sweetheart. That is our date."

I looked at him crazy but followed him. Once on the other side of the billboard I saw a loveseat set up at the edge of the water and realize he had made a drive-in movie for us only we weren't in a car. In front of the loveseat sat a small table full of food and a drink for each of us.

James led me over and sat me down, "I hope you like the movie I picked." and settled next to me. "Would you like to eat?" he asked.

I giggled, "You are way too much." I said, "I can wait a few to eat. So what movie were we watching?"

He smiled and pointed to the screen, and I knew this movie immediately. It was Titanic.

The waves from the water were crashing behind us as we watched the movie, and I had never felt like I was in a movie before until now.

He slid over next to me, "Are you enjoying the movie?"

I put my head on his shoulder and wrapped my arm around his arm, "What's not to enjoy? This is my favorite movie ever."
