(Take it as few days later, let's keep this investigation aside for a while)

As they walked through the grand mansion, the silence hung heavy between them. Nari glanced up at Jungkook, her expression softening like she hadn’t been plotting her next move.

"Jungkook," Nari broke the silence, her voice calm but curious.

He glanced down at her, his features softening briefly. "Yes?"

"You always say this world is dangerous, that I wouldn't survive here... but don’t you trust yourself?" she asked, weaving her fingers with his, a shiver running down her spine—though not for the reason he thought.

She looked up at him, her gaze hopeful. "Don’t you have faith that you can protect me?"

Jungkook hesitated, his cold demeanor faltering for a moment. "I can protect you from anyone, from anything," he said, the usual command in his voice tinged with something softer.

Nari smiled inwardly but kept her expression sweet. "Then show me your world, Jungkook," she said, flashing him a smile that would weaken anyone’s resolve.

He pulled her closer, his grip tightening. His breath heated against her neck as he buried his face there, inhaling deeply. "You really want that? To see everything?" His voice was low, dangerous, but with a promise behind it.

Nari suppressed a shiver, not from fear, but excitement. "I'm ready," she whispered, meeting his gaze with an unwavering smile.

Jungkook studied her, then sighed. "Fine. I'll show you my world, but once you step in, there’s no going back."

She nodded, her smile still bright, hiding the storm inside. As he led her deeper into the mansion, Nari marveled at how easily she had manipulated him. He thought he was in control, but little did he know, she’d seen it all before.

As they moved through secret corridors, passing guarded doors, Jungkook showed Nari the underbelly of his empire—rooms filled with weapons, cash, and familiar faces.

He led her to his private office and started teaching her about his operations, showing her how to wield power, both literal and metaphorical.

Nari’s eyes sparkled with feigned awe as Jungkook placed a sleek gun in her hands. "This is how you survive in my world," he said, positioning her fingers over the cold metal.

But Nari already knew the weight of the weapon. She’d prepared for this moment long before he noticed her.

As the night wore on, Jungkook showed her how to use his tools—guns, knives, surveillance—thinking he was the teacher.

Nari played along, absorbing his lessons while hiding the truth: she had already infiltrated his world.

He led her to a private room behind a large painting. Nari’s eyes fell on the assortment of weapons lining the walls—guns, knives, files.

She’d seen places like this before, but never this close, and never with Jungkook.

Jungkook picked up a handgun. "This is something you’ll need if you're part of my world," he said, holding it delicately.

Nari hesitated for a moment, pretending to be unsure. "I don’t know how to use this, Jungkook," she said, her voice trembling just enough to seem real. She looked up at him, hoping to play on his protective instincts. "It’s too much..."

Jungkook smiled, his protective side coming out. "It’s not too much. Trust me. I’ll teach you everything." He stepped closer and pressed the gun into her hands. She pretended to grip it awkwardly, like a beginner.
