Tony Stark leaned back in the passenger seat of one of his countless cars, sunglasses perched lazily on his face, hands clasped behind his head.

Beside him, Peter Parker sat in the driver’s seat, clutching the steering wheel nervously, eyes wide with both excitement and terror.

“Alright, kid. Let’s go over the basics.” Tony smirked, clearly enjoying the situation far more than Peter. “Green light means?”

Peter straightened in his seat, taking the quiz seriously. “Go!”

“Good,” Tony nodded approvingly. “Red light?”

“Stop!” Peter said, feeling more confident.

Tony gave a mock-salute. “Nice. Now, the tricky one. Yellow light?”

Peter bit his lip, thinking. Tony raised an eyebrow, waiting. After a beat, Peter grinned, leaning closer to Tony like they were sharing a secret. “If you floor it, you can make it!”

Tony sat up, laughing and patting Peter on the shoulder. “That’s my boy! Excellent!”

From the backseat, Pepper Potts groaned loudly, her head dropping into her hands.

“No, no, no!” she cried out in exasperation. “Peter, that’s not how you drive! Tony, what are you teaching him?!”

Tony looked back at her innocently, though the smirk still danced on his lips. “Relax, Pep. It’s just a bit of advanced driving theory.” He winked at Peter, who chuckled nervously.

Pepper threw her hands up. “Advanced driving theory?! This is why I drive! Tony, you’re going to get him killed!”

Peter’s eyes darted between them, unsure whether he should laugh or fear for his life. “Uh, maybe I should slow down?”

“Don’t listen to her,” Tony said, waving off Pepper’s protests. “You’re doing great, kid. Just, you know, make sure you don’t actually floor it when there’s traffic, or… pedestrians.”

“Tony!” Pepper’s voice rose an octave, fully entering scolding mode.

Peter gulped, gripping the steering wheel tighter. “So, slow down at yellow lights… got it.”

Pepper sighed in relief. “Thank you, Peter.”

Tony shrugged, flashing a mischievous grin. “I mean, you could slow down. Or, you could—”

TONY.”

He put his hands up defensively. “Alright, alright. Safety first. But remember, Peter, when you're saving the city, yellow means go!”

Peter chuckled nervously, glancing at Pepper through the rearview mirror. “I think I’ll stick to Pepper’s version for now.”

Pepper leaned forward, resting a hand on Peter’s shoulder, smiling warmly. “That’s right, Peter. I like you in one piece.”

Peter nodded, grateful. "Yeah, me too."

Tony sighed dramatically. “You’re both no fun. But fine, we’ll do it Pepper’s way.” He paused, then added under his breath, “...For now.”

Pepper narrowed her eyes. “I heard that.”

The car continued down the road, with Peter feeling a little more relaxed—though he was still not entirely sure who he should listen to when it came to driving advice.

One thing was certain: driving lessons with Tony Stark would never be boring.
