Title: The Hug-Sense Tingling

Peter Parker had a superpower, and no, it wasn’t the web-slinging, wall-crawling kind.

It was something way more elusive: The Hug-Sense.

Whenever Gwen Stacy needed a hug, Peter would just... know. It didn’t matter where they were—hallway, classroom, even in the middle of a coffee shop—he’d just slip an arm around her waist and pull her in.

The first few times, she’d blink up at him, caught between amused and confused, as if to ask, Really? Right now?

One day, she looked a little out of it in chemistry. She sighed, and before she could even finish, Peter’s arm was already around her, pulling her close.

“Peter,” she whispered, trying not to draw attention, “what if people see?”

“See what?” he said with mock innocence, squeezing her tighter. “I’m just helping my lab partner.”

She rolled her eyes. “Helping me with what?”

“Chemistry,” he replied, eyebrows waggling.

Gwen burst out laughing, her previous worries fading. The teacher cleared his throat, and they stifled their giggles, only for Peter to lean in and whisper, “Did I just hear you sigh again? Need another hug?”

“Oh my god Peter, now’s not the time!” she whispered back, still giggling.

“Then when is the time? I’m on Hug Duty, Stacy. I take my job very seriously.”

With that, Gwen gave up trying to resist. She let herself lean into Peter, rolling her eyes but smiling, thinking, This boy... somehow, he’s the best kind of trouble.
