How could they say something so horrendous about her mother?

Allie saw the anger in the queen's eyes. At first, she thought it was because her grandmother couldn't accept what the Seer had said. But no—it wasn’t that.

"How could a princess do this? Everyone knows this is forbidden!" the queen raged.

"We need to eliminate the dragon's heir, Your Majesty," one of the ministers urged.

"Yes, we must!" the others echoed.

Allie felt a chill run through her. Her own grandmother had been the one to order her death.

Suddenly, the doors burst open, and Princess Lhara entered.

"Mother, Ahmira has run away. We can't find her anywhere," she reported, her face filled with concern.

"We can't lose her, Your Majesty. We must find the princess as soon as possible—for the sake of our empire," the Seer insisted.

The next scene Allie witnessed was outside the palace. Her mother, holding her tightly, used all her strength to protect her from the danger surrounding them. Allie could see her mother's pain and helplessness. It hurt her deeply.

They were surrounded by the Seer's followers, all dressed in white. Sorcerers.

"Mother, please, I'm begging you... My daughter is innocent. Can't you see that? Please, Mother, save us," her mother pleaded desperately.

Allie looked at the queen.

"Ahmira, this is for the sake of our kingdom, our empire, our world. I must protect the future of this world. Let her go and come with us, my daughter. You know you've done a terrible thing, Ahmira. Please, come with us and let her go now."

"She is my daughter. How can you ask me to let her go? How can you protect your world if you can't even protect your own daughter and grandchild?"

Allie could feel her mother's anger, pain, and frustration. The queen was silent.

"Your Majesty, please..." the Seer urged.

Allie wanted to snap the Seer's neck. She could feel her own fury as she stared at the Seer's face.

The queen bowed her head. "Finish it," she commanded.

Suddenly, a great fire surrounded her mother and the child.

Allie screamed in horror. "Mama!" she cried out.

She saw her mother silently mouthing words. She wasn’t shouting or begging for mercy. Instead, she was opening a portal. Allie watched quietly, listening to what her mother was saying.

"When you grow up, come and find me, my love. Mother will be waiting for you. For now, be safe. Be strong because one day, you will rule this world. Be kind, so people will regret abandoning you. Be merciful, so they will know how great the daughter of the dragon is. Be powerful, so you can protect those you love. Goodbye, Alessandra. Until we meet again."

Her mother kissed her on the forehead, and then Alessandra disappeared. The fire began to burn her mother's flesh, but no one heard her scream.

Suddenly, the sky turned dark. A massive shadow with giant wings loomed overhead.

"It's the Dragon Lord!" someone shouted in fear, and everyone began to run in panic.

"Your Majesty, we must go inside the palace," her aunt said, pulling the queen away.

Allie stood frozen, watching the enormous black dragon take her mother's burning body. He was massive, as large as a city building. Her mother wasn’t moving anymore. She was dead.
