Two hundred and twenty years ago, Goddess Lona ruled over the eight kingdoms of Eqiros, a realm where witches, sorcerers, seers, werewolves, vampires, mermaids, mermen, faeries, humans, and countless other magical beings coexisted in harmony. She was revered by all, and her reign brought peace and prosperity. Among her many followers was Ehann, who was appointed as the Moon God. With the ability to illuminate the darkest nights, he seemed the perfect candidate to rule by her side. However, the Moon God, though powerful, grew increasingly greedy for power. He wanted not just to rule the eight kingdoms, but to stand beside the goddess herself as her equal—her partner in all things.
But the goddess had a secret. She fell deeply in love with a faerie named Zisan. As a goddess, bound by divine laws, she could not marry him, but she chose to love him in secret. Their love burned brightly for a thousand years, pure and untouchable. Ehann, consumed with jealousy, could not fathom how a goddess would choose a mere faerie over a god like him. His pride would not allow it, and his heart darkened with hatred.
Unable to bear his defeat, Ehann devised a cruel plan. One fateful night, when Goddess Lona was away, he murdered Zisan. The goddess returned to find her beloved lifeless, her heart shattered. Ehann believed that with Zisan gone, the goddess would finally turn her eyes upon him, but even years later, his affections were still unrequited.
Then, fate intervened. One day, a man arrived—someone who captured the goddess's heart. It was then that Ehann discovered the truth: Zisan's soul had been reborn in the man's body. Enraged, he killed the man. But that was not enough for the Moon God. When the goddess fell in love again, this time with a woman, he killed her as well, determined to extinguish all love from the goddess’s life.
But Goddess Lona had reached her breaking point. She could no longer tolerate Ehann’s cruelty. However, before she could punish him, Ehann poisoned her drink. In his twisted mind, if he could not have the goddess, he would claim the world for himself. As a god, he believed he did not need her to rule.
Before her final breath, Goddess Lona cast a powerful curse upon Ehann. She stripped him of his divine powers, ending his reign as the Moon God. He would be reborn into the mortal world, stripped of everything, to live as a human for a hundred years. However, in her haste for vengeance, she failed to erase his memories. When he was reborn into the body of an ordinary man, all he could think about was finding the goddess and killing her once more.
As for Goddess Lona, she was reborn as the daughter of the King and Queen of the Arz Kingdom. She was named Alessandra, and her powers were undeniable. She became Empress after demonstrating immense strength, and she alone was the only one capable of sitting on the throne of the Sky Kingdom, a position once held by Goddess Lona herself.
Alessandra met her lover again, but Ehann, now in his human form, was not far behind. Consumed by his need for revenge, he brought an army to attack the palace. As her people were slaughtered before her eyes, the Empress was struck down once more by Ehann’s hand. His mastery of black magic, a skill he had honed over thousands of years as a human, made him crueler and more dangerous than ever before. His heart had grown dark and his soul twisted with pure evil.
The Empress was killed by her own sister, whose mind was manipulated by Ehann’s magic. Her entire family and lover were murdered. Ehann placed a curse upon the Sky Kingdom, ensuring that no one would ever sit upon the throne again. Devastated, Goddess Lona chose to forsake the mortal realm entirely. She would no longer be born into any body. Instead, she would become the sun, the moon, and the wind—ever-present but unseen.
But even in her formless state, Ehann trembled at the thought of the goddess’s unseen presence. He feared her, and so he retreated, creating chaos across the world, manipulating creatures and slaughtering those who refused to follow his dark commands. Yet despite his terror, Goddess Lona waited patiently for the right moment.
