"This way! Hurry before Father wises up and figures out everything!" China was guiding Mongolia to the cellar to reunite with his companions. Russia was running behind as well. He wasn't sure what was happening, but if Mongolia was running, he figured he should too.

China shows Mongolia the door to where his friends should be held captive, he wastes no time darting down as fast as he can. One should be worried about accidentally tripping and cracking their skulls up. Luckily, that case didn't happen to him.

"Japan, Korea!" A tinge of happiness throbs his veiny heart from seeing his two friends. "Mongolia!" Both of them were out of their cells, waiting for China to cue them to leave. "Thank god, I-- Woah!" He almost fell backwards then they both clung to his arms. Korea was mushing his face against his chest, extremely relieved to see him, "You have no idea how happy I am to see you! I knew you wouldn't forsake me!"

"Uhm... you mean, us?" Japan who was holding on to Mongolia's left arm comments. "Yeah, whatever. Come on, let's get the fuck out of this joint!"

"Yeah... I guess we overstayed our welcome already..." Mongolia grabs Russia's hand so they can all escape this makeshift prison. "W-Wait!" China interrupts their flee by getting in their way, "Gah, what now?!" Frustrated, Mongolia wants to trample over this annoying boy.

"C-Can I come with you?" What sort of request was that? Mongolia baffled by his question blinks owlishly at him, "W-What? No!? Move!"

"H-Hold on, you have to take him with us, he wants to leave as well!" Japan fulfills her end of the deal and tries convincing him to bring him along. "Are you kidding me? What in his right mind does he want to leave for?!"

"I-I know it's hard to hear, but he helped us out! We can't just leave him, especially with that monster!" Seeing how powerful Qing is with her own eyes, she has come to fear what wrath could await them if they get caught. "She isn't lying, China got us out of here, we got to help him out..." Korea too is attempting to persuade him.

"Agh! Okay, we can discuss this outside, right now, let's get as far away as we can!"

Qing Dynasty's POV

For a moment... when you smiled at me, and we laughed in my old room, I had a sense of familiarity and acceptance...

You spoke to me as if we were kids again, either the alcohol has diluted down whatever grudges we had against each other, or you finally forgave me. Then... he came, that boy... awkwardly shuffling into my room, and when you pulled him into your embrace, "Hmm, Russia. You're so cute~".

Seeing you so happy, and fulfilled...

I almost considered dropping my act...

"I'm doing the right thing... I'm doing the right thing... I'm doing the right thing..." I kept telling myself that, no matter how many times I repeated this mantra in my head, I couldn't fool myself into believing what I've done is ethically correct...

I was walking down that endless hall, the one's color always bugged me about, this was the path to my room. However, a feeling inside of me was telling me something was wrong, I'm not guilty, that's for sure. I've learned to hone on my emotions and put up a good pretend for my own sake. If I were to burst out now, I may not control the darkest secret lying within me... in my blood.
