"Aye yung dis license plate is comin back to a nigga named Charles." Joce spoke sitting next to me

It was now going on nine and I was still livid to say the least .. we had just got back to my mamas house being ain't want her here , I had her and everyone else at my maws house since she felt like it was a set up .. nobody knows where she lives for reasons like this , pulling from the blunt I passed it to Chris and sat up moving my gun to the right side of my lap .

"Only Charles I know is crystals brother but he moved a couple years back y'all ain't have no beef word?" Chris spoke looking at me

Rubbing my tongue across my teeth I clenched and unclenched my jaw uncontrollably , rubbing the back of my neck ain't wanna think I was getting set up but that's what it felt like .

The day I got lit up I had just left from Crystal's place we had got into a argument pertaining her pregnancy .. all I remember was getting into my car and making it two blocks over , before the piercing stings of bullets rippled through my legs .. I just didn't understand why or what reason she could have , hell she used the fuck outta me .. I didn't wanna think that's what was going on giving the history tho I wouldn't do no shit like that to her .

Rubbing my hand down my face I looked up and over at Chris .

"Shits adding up but it ain't huh?" He asked looking at a message on his phone

"Hell naw." I spoke sighing "I don't wanna believe she a do some flaw ass shit like that , I would hope she wouldn't do me dat ."

"I wouldn't be surprised." Joce said blowing smoke "Especially now bein she don't like lil bit dats wat I been hearin." He spoke shrugging

"Ain been hearin nun like dat from nobody except maw." I said shaking my head "She call herself havin a lil issue wit ha but Ry gone give her what she's wantin." I spoke smirking

I wasn't necessarily upset with how Ryan reacted hell I would hope someone came to cover me .. being Chris got shot , I just hate she was even there hate she had to even see that .. had she got hurt that would've messed me up completely .. how I came off earlier to her was a asshole move but adrenaline played a big role in that .

"Heard she busted they tires out , her ass ain quiet for no reason she be on dat." Joce spoke laughing

"Hel-."

Looking at Crystal pull up in her car I looked at it eyeing it down , stepping out her car she walked up toward the porch tryna step into the house but I blocked the screen door with my leg..

"The fuck are you doin?" She asked looking down at me "Tryna get my baybeh so I can go home august." She spoke rolling her neck

"Lose that shitty ass attitude before I choke yo ass out Crystal ." I spoke standing up "Gimmie your phone." I spoke watching her demeanor

Looking down at Chris then joce she looked back at me and scrunched her face up. .

"It's at my job I forgot it at my job tryna hurry 'nd get my boy so we can run back by my job." She chuckled out

Looking at Chris I watched him bring his mouth to the side as if he knew off rip she was lying , looking at the red Honda pull up I watched Nia step out with Ryan and Ace .. Ry held a sleeping Ayden in her arms , walking across the street they made their way onto the porch before handing Ayden off ..

"I told you I don't want nobody around him August , he don't kno these folks." She spoke rolling her eyes

"Bitch shut the fuck up , damn you don't get tired ? you one of them bitches that pick and be surprised when you up under somebody's alternator." Ryan spoke looking her up and down
