Racing to the hospital had August and Chris in a frenzy not knowing what they were pulling up to .. August wore a calm yet frantic look on his face he was petrified but his demeanor just wouldn't allow it to show , his main focus was getting to Ryan and making sure she was good .

Replaying what happened in his head for what felt like the millionth time he smacked the dashboard in frustration .

August had just put one last bullet out of a full clip into the body in front of him .

Him and Chris had just finished Tasha off .

August was no more as Yung was pissed .

Charles was never crystals brother but a nigga she been fucking with , Bryson and Tasha were married , Tony and Crystal were to fucked up ass individuals but that's not what he was upset about .

He was upset because his lady was laying in the hospital with two bullet wounds .

That's right two !

After getting a call from a frantic Ace he went on to let August know they shot Bryson , Odell hit him in his back Ace hit his arm and Ry hit her target .

Prior to her hitting him he hit hurt luckily Ace shot him first which made him drop his hand that held the gun shooting Ry in her arm and a little below her stomach .

Odell and Ace stayed at the center cleaning up the mess that was made , Ry did tell Bryson she was a good shoot and like August said she never lied . While in agonizing pain she managed to keep her promise and let one of her bullets rip through him.

Stopping the car Chris parked it and popped the trunk , grabbing himself some wipes and tossing them to August the men cleaned the blood off their faces and hands .. switching into clean shirts and bottoms they walked into the hospital like they didn't just murk somebody off the map .

Running up toward the front desk I began to speak but stop seeing Nia come toward us with blood shot eyes .. I've told myself I wouldn't cry and I kept that persona up but Ryan was my all and the main thing I didn't want to happen happened .

I failed her .

Pulling her into him Chris consoled her as we walked back toward the waiting area that sat another couple .. sitting off in the corner I let the tears wet my once dried face .

"Mama is in the surgery room with them ." Nia hiccuped out "She's not doing good."

Breaking down again after listening to her words Chris consoled her some more .. placing my face into my hands I allowed myself to cry , who says a man ain't supposed to cry and why did I allow myself not to for so long ?

I be crying out now but I prayed to God will be laughing later , I needed her I don't think I could function with out her .. I yearned for her I knew her smell with or without perfume , I know her touch I know every look she could possibly give me , I know her like the back of my hand and I wasn't ready to not .

Feeling a hand press down on my shoulder I looked over and seen Ace who looked to be in the same state of mind as us .. ain't expect nothing less Ryan is the kind of person that nobody had nothing bad to say about her , she carried herself well , welcomed you in without a second thought she's everything to me .

She taught me how to love again , she taught me to smile more , she taught me how to open up .. she's my safe heaven ! all I wanted to do for her was protect her love her make her my wife .. and give her everything her heart desires starting with our own football team !
