Sitting up front of the tattoo shop I listened to Ace vent about his problems at hand , it's been about two months since the vacation trip and to say we've grown even closer would be a understatement .. almost inseparable but we didn't mind adding him into the circle because he was genuine and real and that's all we could ask for ..

"I don't know what he thought this was , but once I found out I didn't even question him .. I asked him if he needed that ." He spoke rolling his eyes

Ace didn't have a rough up bringing but being from the hood he seen things and heard things and had his fear share of things , one thing he didn't tolerate was disrespect which was understandable being he was naturally bubbly .. so if he was upset there had to been a solid reason behind it the reason for this incident was his other half ..

"Ace baby don't let a nigga get you to the point of wanting to fight , leave his no good ass where he be." Nia spoke while smiling into her phone

Looking at me I returned the same look to Ace

"Who's getting all of my love?" Ace spoke leaning his neck to the side

"I mean honestly." I replied laughing

Sitting in her seat and locking her phone she tucked an imaginary piece of hair behind her ear while sticking her tongue out .

"Say tho ." She spoke laughing "Me and Chris been texting since that night at the club."

"Bitch and you're just now telling us , to think you know a bitch ." Ace spoke shaking his head

"Grandma not mad , grandma just hurt." I spoke holding my chest

I kinda figured that's who being he had her cheesing like a cashmere cat a couple months ago at their club grand opening .

"I don't know it's a vibe right now , I'm sure he's gonna fuck it up soon that's a nigga for you." She spoke shrugging "But game nights tonight so I invited him and told him to bring a plus one." She spoke smiling at me

"Oh please I know you're not talking bout August." I spoke laughing "That's like mixing business with pleasure ."

"Bitch please that man ain't in that facility no more." Ace spoke laughing

"Still tho I just I'm not checking for nobody right now , he's cool people tho but I'm good on that aspect ." I spoke playing with the hem of my shirt

August wasn't ugly I just didn't see us going further beyond the little run ins and convos we had back when he was at the facility , and that night at the club which wasn't even like that it was mainly the weed and alcohol .. I'm not checking for nobody nor am I willing to bring any more hectic bullshit to anyone's live who already has a handful of problems ..

"Girl boo it's all in ya grill." Ace laughed out while quoting star from ATL

"You so lame." Nia spoke laughing at him

"Huh let me get outta here , me and my man gone slide through tonight chile."

Getting up and sharing hugs we watched him walk to his car before turning around and taking a seat again .. Saturdays were deep clean days for the shop which resulted in us also deciding to make saturday nights game night , we started this back when we first opened the shop and stuck to it since ..

"Okay I gotta run to walmart for new game cards , I'll meet you at the house or do you wanna come ?" She asked standing up

"Ima go ahead to the house so I can get ahead on the appetizers , grab some paper towels were out."
