Ryan Leblanc Sitting at my vanity I stared at my reflection while I brushed my hair .. it's been about a month since the incident and to say I was slowly coming outta the funk I held myself in would be understated .. I couldn't thank my support system enough being their assistance played a huge impact in me getting back to me .
Standing up and looking at the dress I wore I smiled up until my eyes fell on the scar that showed when the dress began to rise .. licking my lips and running my hand across it I held my head up and blinked away the tears that threatened to fall .
"Dat scar as much as you think it does define yo situation it doesn't."
Turning around and looking at maw I watched her close the door behind her before taking a seat on the bed , pulling the dress down and walking toward her I sat next to while I played with my fingers .
"You look beautiful baybeh , Erica did good pickin dat luh dress out." She spoke smiling
Tonight August had everyone running around getting me pampered and prepared for a date night , being we've never actually had one .. I hadn't seen him all day excluding this morning but that wasn't enough , I craved being under his skin I was so terrified of not being under him now .
Ever since the incident I had sadly accumulated night terrors again , my finger fiddling due to anxiety was back sky high , and my mental was off but I've also evolved and I'm evolving .. soon I'll be back to the person I worked hard to be , this trauma soon will be over no pass of it nor drama filled situations .
Which kept me sane me knowing I was completely free from something that hindered me , if felt fresh it was persevering I knew that feeling I've felt it before .
That same little girl that screamed inside of me was once again healing .
"Yeah she did , aside it being a lil to little." I spoke smiling "Did he say where we were going ?"
"Some nice luh restaurant around da way , dats all I kno." She spoke smirking "Co'mere sit down let me hit ya head wit dis brush once more."
Laughing at her word phrasing I got up and went to the vanity letting her brush the back and fix the fallen curls .. after gathering myself I overlooked at my outfit again before I stepped into to living room where everyone else sat and waited .
"Where the hell is the rest of your dress." Chris asked tooting his nose up while smacking on chicken
"Stay out that chicken boy." Mama spoke smacking his hand
"I'm sayin doe , who da hell picked dis dress out?"Joce asked looking around

They definitely did their "older" brother due diligence .. especially Chris but I didn't mind I've always wanted to experience it , and now I was able to .. I loved all four of my brothers wouldn't trade them for nothing in this world .
