*Liliana's POV*
It was finally my birthday. I had been grounded for months. Dad told me the day before my birthday that I would be finally ungrounded on my birthday. Thank god. I didn't really want to celebrate my birthday. I came downstairs in my see-through bra and miniskirt but mum said that apparently that's not appropriate at all so I changed into a short black dress.
"So, Lils, what do you wanna do today?" Dad asked
"I don't know. it's only my 14th birthday... it's not a big deal"
"Hey, every birthday is a big deal. Especially when you're as young as you are"
"I'd rather just get drunk"
"Absolutely not. How about we all just go get ice cream, go and watch a new movie in the cinema and then get some pizza?"
"That doesn't actually sound that bad" I said. The ice cream and movie were pretty good. The pizza was even better though, especially as we went to Pizza Hut which meant unlimited pizza. The next day was actually a lot better. Mum woke up early and so did I so she decided to paint my nails. She did gel polish on them too which were gonna help them grow out and then dad came downstairs.
"Hey, guys" he said
"You okay, Lan?" Mum said
"Yeah, I'm fine. Just surprised to see you two up so early"
"yeah, well, I have some time today and Liliana has been wearing so many false nails to the point where her nails are so weak so I'm just doing some gel polish on them in hopes that it will help them grow out. plus, it's like a late birthday present for her. it's not every day you turn 14"
"That's actually quite a good idea, Lex. Gel polish can really do wonders for nails" he said. He sat down next to me and wrapped his arms around me. "Hey, Lils"
"Hey, dad..."
"How are you feeling today, sweetheart?"
"Yeah, I'm fine... just a bit tired. I didn't get a lot of sleep last night"
"Just take it easy today, okay?" He said. I was definitely planning on having a nap. I had a nap but woke up a few hours later to the sound of moaning in our home gym. I was literally traumatised.
