--Edmunds room--
It took Edmund a little while to return to slumber after Y/N's, dream. He personally wasn't convinced it was a mer dream. To him, it looked to be a nightmare.
Her scream in pain replayed in his mind.
He hated the sound.
Once he awoke though, something else had come to the forefront of his thoughts.
The cold.
He sat up in his bed, looking towards the curtains. They were shut but he had a pretty good idea of what the weather was doing.
He then took a breath as he got out of bed, the cold quickly enveloping him like a blanket, a far cry from the warmth of his bed.
A shiver runs up his spine as he walks towards the curtains, reaching out and grabbing the left one. Pulling it aside he looks out of the window, looking down at the grounds of Cair.
It was covered in snow.
Edmund sighs. Ever since his first venture into Narnia snow had become more of a dreaded occurrence than something to look forward to.
Looking over his shoulder towards his bed, he turns and walks over to a chair that sat in the corner, his day clothes piled neatly upon it.
Once changed, he leaves his room, the torches that lined Cair's walls had since gone out. It wasn't too dark though, the windows luckily provided enough light despite the snow.
He wanders down the corridor, noticing his breath creating a cold mist as he breathed out.
It was getting colder by the minute...
--Y/N's room--
Y/N didn't sleep much after the events of last night. She kept finding herself opening her eyes, staring at the ceiling, feeling utterly conflicted.
She barely knew why.
She knew what Jadis did to Edmund, how she treated him. How it effected him.
But something in her felt pity for Jadis.
When she spoke to her and told of her story, Y/N could tell she was speaking the truth. But was she?
Jadis is known to easily deceive, Edmund being the biggest victim of that.
Yet still, Y/N felt something in her wanting to travel to her and give her the stone....
Y/N sighs.
What should i do...?
--The dining hall--
"Ah, Edmund. Good morning." Caspian says as Edmund walks in to the dining hall, finding Caspian looking out of the window on the far end of the room.
"Good morning." He says, leaning against the dining table at the centre of the room, with his arms crossed, looking at the window.
"Sleep well?"
Edmund glances at Caspian before he shakes his head a little.
"Not really."
Caspian then nods, taking a deep breath.
"Me neither."
A silence fills the space, but only for a brief moment.
"Do you think she was telling us the truth? About her not having a nightmare?" Caspian asks, looking at Edmund.
Edmund then shrugs.
"I'm not sure but, screaming doesn't just happen in a normal dream, usually."
He then pauses before speaking again.
