The mid-day sun shines above, creating gentle beams of light to shrine through the tree's leaves and towards the ground as Edmund and Y/N continue to walk through, stepping over branches and walking around large rocks.

"So...believe me yet?" Edmund says, a small laugh leaving his lips as he smiles.
Y/N shrugs and her smile grows as she says "slightly more than this morning."

Edmund now shrugs himself, saying "I'd call that progress i suppose."

After at least another hour of walking they find themselves near a small lake that leads into a stream. The stream seems to flow down and into the distance, it's water glistening in the sunlight.

"Why don't we take a break here? We have been walking for a while now..." Edmund suggests, looking at the lakeside.
Y/N nods and they both sit down, Edmund leaning his back against a large rock and talking a deep breath, the air cool and refreshing.

They both sit there for a few minutes in silence, just taking in Narnia's calming nature.

Y/N then looks at Edmund, who is seemingly lost in thought.
"What's the matter Edmund?" She says, making him snap out of his thoughts.
"Oh, nothing it's just....quiet." Edmund says, looking around.
Y/N's face turns to one of confusion.
"What do you mean?" She asks.

Edmund looks at her and says "it's too quiet...we have been here for a good while now and we haven't encountered anything else living. Narnia is usually rather lively, especially in summer."

Y/N thinks for a moment. She thought it was strange that they had not met anyone else while walking, the only noise coming from nature itself like the water and the breeze.
"I assume that's definitely not normal yes?" She says, making Edmund nod in response as he gets up from the floor.

Unbeknownst to Y/N, Edmund has some worry weighing him down now...

Was it?
No, it couldn't be...
Surely...

Edmund shakes his head. Almost laughing at himself for thinking in such a way. She's dead. She is. Him and the others made sure of it.

Or was she...

"Edmund?" Y/N says, shattering his train of thought.
"Yes?" He says, looking at her.

"You look troubled by something."

Edmund shakes his head and smiles. "I'm fine, i was just thinking on how long it will take us to get to where i wanted to show you. That's all."

He turns around and says "We should be there in another few hours or so. We best get going though before it gets too late."

Looking towards the ground with his hands in his pockets, he begins to walk.

Y/N gives him another concerned glance before moving to catch up with him...
