The ground was damp and chilly, penetrating through Tang's shirt as he was hauled across it. He struggled against the ropes constricting his arms and torso, crying out whenever he was dragged over a jagged stone or crevice.

In his desperation he had asked for this, and even despite the fear clawing up his throat, he didn't regret it. Pigsys had been tossed against his entire counter and pinned beneath it when it shattered. Sandy shot upward directly into the ceiling, an angry glow to his eyes that he was barely containing.

Tang had just reacted- agreeing to go with the demon so long as the violence would stop. He could still hear Pigsy pleading with him not to do it.

Tang shuddered, wishing he was within his arms right now. Maybe this was the incorrect choice. Perhaps he should have trusted Sandy and Pigsy to figure something out but- but the shop... All of Pigsy's dreams were that shop. It had already gone through enough lately.

Tang was abruptly dropped, and he grunted as the breath was forced from his lungs. He lay on the cold, hard floor panting, and managed to roll onto his back to take in his surroundings.

The chamber was vast, its far walls barely visible through a haze of acrid smoke. Torches were scattered randomly about the room, their flames dancing eerily on the damp stone walls.

"And now you are here," The demon, Syntax said, his voice deep and filled with gloating satisfaction. Calling forth another demon, who emerged from the shadow, the man mused to himself.

"Did you fetch what I ordered?" this new demon, one that Tang recognized, growled. This was the man that had attacked the shop previously! So he was right to assume the two were connected.

His capture mused, "I present to you, my findings," Syntax smirked, side stepped to the right to reveal his captive. Bounded by his wrists and ankles Tang was lifted and danged off of one of the many robotic legs Syntax had coming from his back. Lifting his head wearily, Tang's eyes quivering behind his glasses.

The Huntsmen blinked a few times, staring over Tang thoroughly. He seemed displeased and confused, "...Who is this?" he grumbled, gesturing to the human.

Syntax flinched, "W-Wha-?" he snapped harshly, "What do you mean WHO? This is the human you sent me to fetch!'

The Huntsman shook his head, "No it isn't."

"Brown hair! Golden eyes!" Syntax insisted, gesturing to the Human who clearly had these features.

"Crazy Brown hair and a bandana," The Huntsman added, thought he definitely hadn't previously. "This isn't the right human."

Syntax huffed, flailing his metallic appendages in the air. "A bandana? You never mentioned a bandana," he grumbled, spinning on his heel to face the captive. The captive human attempted a weak grin, his pale face flushing in embarrassment.

"Y-You weren't- exactly clear on why you wanted me," he says, not even sure why he had to defend himself when he was the one who was unfairly taken. All for nothing it seemed. But wait... the person the Spider was describing. Tang felt himself go pale. MK?

The Huntsman sighed heavily, rubbing his temples. "This is precisely why I don't usually outsource," he muttered under his breath. With one last glance at the frightened captive swaying from Syntax's robotic limb, the Huntsman turned and began walking away.
