*Monokuma:JULIA WHY DIDNT YOU UPDATE ON TIME?!?!
Me:Well I-
Monokuma:LET ME GUESS YOU WERE WITH FAMILY OR SOME SHIT!!!
Me:No I-
Monokuma:YOU WERE AWAY!!!IS THAT IT?!?!
Me:No I-
Monokuma:WHAT THE HELL IS IT THEN?!?!
Me:I GOT ADDICTED TO DEATH NOTE SHUT UP!!!
Monokuma:........
Me:L is my new husbando
Monokuma:......mine too......
Me:...?
But yeah in short I got addicted and didn't get the chance.Sorry*

I fell asleep fairly easily.I dreamt of a tropical island where I lived out the rest of my days in solitude and peace.

But something was wrong.

The world it didn't seem...real.It was that kind of feeling one gets when they're standing on one of those 'artificial' islands.Like the palm trees and sand had a sort of manufactured aura.

"SHIZUKO!!!!"

"Huh?!"

I woke up with a start and rolled off my bed in a tangle of sheets.Someone was knocking on my door furiously.

"SHIZUKO WAKE UP SOMEONES DEAD!!!"

What?!No!We just got the motive someone can't be dead already!

I hurried off of the ground and over to the door.I opened it and saw Maiko on the other side.She was grinning.

"Please hurry to the Dining Hall!We've been waiting for a while."She cartwheeled away.

Wait...did she lie about someone being dead?!Seriously?!I followed after her,fuming at the insensitivity of her fib.

I entered the Dining Hall after Maiko.Everyone was already there.

Geez how late did I sleep?

Kimiko was staring at me fiercely.She did not seem entertained.She stood up and said,"We need to get you a clock of some sort Shizuko."

"It won't help.I'll still be late."I shrugged as I sat down.

"You'll never be on time with that attitude."She glared at me.

"So Tomoko,who did you room with yesterday?"I asked,turning to the girl.She was looking a lot brighter than she had been up until then.

"I was w-with Kimiko.Sh-she is a v-very neat roommate,a-and there wasn't a speck of d-dirt on her f-floor."She was nodding enthusiastically.

"Well yes there is no way someone could have a messy floor yet.We haven't spent a lot of time here,and most of it hasn't been in our rooms."she shrugged.

"Speak for yourself."Yoichi mumbled,scratching the back of his head.

"Akihiro,y-you really didn't h-have to watch outside the d-door.You didn't g-get any sleep l-last night."Tomoko looked over at Akihiro.I looked at him too.There were small bags under his dark eyes.But he seemed quite pleased with himself.

"It was a necessary precaution to take against Monokuma."he waved her off."Besides,tonight Yoshio will be the one to watch outside."

"Yep!And don't try to talk me out of it."He looked a bit apprehensive,but was smiling broadly."By the way,who are you staying with tonight?"

"OOH!OOH!MAIKO VOLUNTEERS!!!"Maiko jumped up in her seat and waved her hand wildly in the air.

"Perhaps we should wait for her to have a turn."Satoru turned away from her."How about Minako?"

Minako lit up."Yeah!It'll be fun!"

"Is there perhaps anyone else who could do it?"Igao asked.

Everyone turned to him,confused.

"What do you mean?"Minako asked,her smile fading a little.

"Well I think Tomoko should room with someone else."Igao stated simply,as if he weren't practically declaring war with one of his classmates.

"Why is that?"Aya eyed him warily.

"The same reason we don't want Tomoko rooming with Maiko yet...he doesn't trust Minako."Satoru pushed his glasses further up his nose.

"That is preposterous!Igao,please state your real reason for this outburst!"Kimiko looked at Igao with harsh eyes.

"He isn't wrong...I do not trust Minako yet."Igao hummed to himself,paying no mind to the disbelieving stares he was getting.Minako was no longer smiling.

"Wh-what are you talking about Igao?"Yoichi stood up,laughing a little as if the whole thing was a joke."C'mon!Your not a very funny dude!"

"Yoichi,on what occasion have I ever been funny."Igao replied coldly.

Yoichi's shoulders sank."Why?Why don't you trust Minako?"

"No reason in particular."Igao waved his hand absentmindedly."It's just the fact that she has given me no reason to trust her."

"What kind of reasoning is that?"Yoshio asked.

Why are you saying all of this out loud?!I thought we were going to lay low about our suspicions of Minako!

He must have something planned.

"My opinions on my classmates is my own business."He looked at each of us,as if daring us to challenge him.

Kimiko was the only one to take up this challenge.

"It is every bit our business!That is specifically why I have called this meeting!"

"What do you mean?"I was late,so I didn't understand what she was talking about.

"I wanted to talk about the new motive."She folded her arms.

"You mean the so called 'Island Haven'?"Akihiro asked.

"Yes!We had no time to discuss it.There was too much going on then."Tomoko shrunk into her seat.Kimiko continued."Well?Does anyone have any thoughts on it?"

"It's kind of a weak motive."Aya scratched her neck."I mean,it's not too different from the first motive we got."

"No,the first motive targeted someone who wanted to escape and receive the power of Ultimate Despair, i.e. your twin."Satoru explained,not mincing words.Aya bristled in irritation.But Satoru paid this no mind."This motive targets someone who has no desire to join Ultimate Despair,but still seeks safety on the outside."

"Isn't that all of us?"Minako asked.

"Yeah I guess."I shrugged.

"But I take it that isn't your main point"Akihiro suggested.

"Correct.The point is,the last two motives were aimed at specific people,creating two to three possible murderers.There are not many who would kill over an object or a seat with the most dangerous people on earth.However safety appeals to a larger number of people.Monokuma is trying to make things interesting."Satoru explained.

"If that's true..."I didn't want to finish my sentence,but I did."...then there's a higher possibility of one of us becoming the blackened."

We sat in silence.We snuck glances at eachother,as if to try and see what the others were thinking.

"...no one w-would kill...we know th-that..."Tomoko whimpered.

"That's what Monokuma is afraid of."Satoru reasoned,wiping his forehead.

"...well that concludes our meeting."Kimiko stood up and walked away.

She probably wishes she never called the meeting.

"Shizuko."Igao walked over to me as everyone was adjourned.The others were talking to each other about what they would do for the rest of the day.I wanted to join them,but I remembered my talk with Igao from the previous day.

"Yeah,let's go."I stood up and joined him."And what was all of that?Was that a good idea?"

"It has shaken everyone up.I believe it will cause some to act recklessly."He assured me.

Ok whatever floats your boat.

"Come on Shizuko.Lets talk to Tomoko."

*yeah shorter chapter,I wanted to squeeze this scene in,so the next chapter will be a big one.*
