"Makoto!"

Someone was calling Makoto's name.He tried to hang on to that voice and use it to anchor his consciousness.

"Wake up you fool you're scaring the peanut gallery."

"Not cool dude!I've got the suit too!I've got feelings!"

"Makoto open you're eyes."

Like lifting twenty pound weights with eyelids alone he opened them.He was still laying in the pod,but it was open.A doctor stood beside him,checking his vitals on a screen.

Surrounding him were his friends.Byakuya was wearing his usual condescending look,but Makoto had worked with him long enough to know that he didn't really mean it...hopefully.

Kyouko was right by Makoto's side,her violet eyes calm,a small smile on her face."You've really worried us."

"Naegs!Dude you were dead!"Hiro was shaking the pod,his eyes puffy from when he must have been crying.

"Do you know how much we've been panicking here?!The guys from the top were panicking when your connection was cut,and we didn't know how to contact you?"Next to Hiro was a crying Hina.

"We've got bigger things to do than welcome him back."Byakuya interjected,ruining the moment.

"What do you mean?"Makoto asked,sitting up with some effort.

"The others are waking up."Kyouko answered."All of them."

"All of them?!"He could hear the disbelief in his voice."How is that...?"

"I don't know but sir it's going to have to wait.You need to have some tests performed."The doctor looked at him coldly."Besides I'm sure those kids are in no condition to talk to you."

He nodded reluctantly and allowed the doctor,Hiro and Hina continue to fuss over him.

"Do you know how they've been doing since I went in?"Makoto asked.

"Nothing unusual to report,other than all of them waking up with no problems."Kyouko answered.

"I see.I wonder how they'll be when they all get together again."Makoto smiled and laid back."By the way have you contacted Nagito?"

"Yes.Unfortunately he seems to have gone off the deep end...yet again."Byakuya sighed in annoyance.

"I still don't get why we couldn't just ask Iz-I mean Hajime to go in instead of that psycho."Hina folded her arms.

"Well looks like he still needs help."Makoto shrugged."Once we're done here we have to notify each of them what's been going on."

"Hey slow down Maiko."Satoru clumsily rolled his wheel chair with the best coordination he could manage.

Maiko,since she lost all motor skills,had a motorized wheel chair that just needed to be controlled with a remote.She was zooming down the hall at breakneck speed.

"CANT STOP ME NOOOOOW!!!"She sang at the top of her lungs.

"Maiko there are patients here trying to sleep!"Minako called after her,her feet lightly padding across the hall as she felt around for obstacles with her cane.

"Yeah but it's only us in this wing,and everyone already knows how Maiko is."Maiko stopped and turned towards Minako.Satoru struggled to keep up,his glasses skewed across his face.He couldn't stop his wheel chair in time however and ended up ramming Maiko's.

"Crap!"Satoru muttered.He was becoming increasingly frustrated with his new mental limitations.

"Satoru let me wheel you."Minako offered,tapping his wheel carefully.
