Akihiro eyed Nagito like he was a spider that needed to be squashed.The normally well composed man I knew was nowhere to be seen.But the scary looking archer was still there,and he was scaring the crap out of me.His hands were shaking in rage.He wasn't wearing his regular black jacket,but instead wore a black dress shirt that must have been under it.It was wrinkled and buttoned sloppily,the sleeves rolled up to his elbows at uneven lengths.His hair was flat on one side,indicating that he had been laying in bed for quite some time and hadn't fixed it.

"Akihiro get away from Minako and Nagito."I took a few steps forward,not caring that I had revealed I knew him.

I heard surprised gasps from behind me.Akihiros eyes widened slightly.I could see that his eyes were bloodshot.

"You...then you are working with him too?Nagito is this fiends name?You know that."He was taking a few steps towards me with the bat."You three came here to get us all killed."

"Akihiro no one here wants to hurt anyone except you."I put my hands up in a peaceful gesture of surrender."Please put down the bat and I can explain everything to you."

"You'll explain nothing to us!"Akihiro growled."Tell me,why have none of us even seen this scoundrel once since we've come here?!"

"He's been trapped in the Archives since this game has started!"Minako interjected.This only made Akihiro focus his attention on her again.

"Now I know why you have been sneaking away so often.You've been giving him food and fraternizing with the enemy!"

"If I may be allowed to interject..."Nagito spoke up,getting to his feet.

"No you may not!!!"Akihiro tried to charge at him again.Minako got in the way.

Akihiro had his bat raised."Minako...I have considered you a friend...and so do many others in this room...but if you insist on getting in the way now I will have no choice but to take you down too."

"Stop this Akihiro you're being crazy!"I shouted.My heart was telling me to get the fuck out of there,but somehow I managed to keep standing there.He spun back towards me.A vein above his left eye brow was bulging.

"That goes for you too Shizuko."Akihiro looked like he was in pain,but his fury was masking this."Will you continue to protect the traitor?"

"By all means,let the man continue."Nagito was still smirking."I would hate it if people like you ended up getting hurt trying to protect someone like me."

No one else had said a word.Everyone was too shocked to be able to interrupt our argument.Even Igao was staring at us four with disbelieving eyes.

"Akihiro,Tomoko wouldn't want you to do this."I reasoned.

But that was a mistake.

"SHUT YOUR DISGUSTING MOUTH YOU TRAITOR!!!"Akihiro exploded prowling closer to me,his knuckles white from how hard he was gripping the bat."DON'T YOU DARE SPEAK HER NAME WENCH!!!"

He swung the bat up and down as fast as the blink of an eye.I raised my arms to shield my face and squeezed my eyes shut,preparing myself for the coming pain.

This is gonna suck!

*Thwack*

*crack*

"EEEEK!!!"

The pain I was waiting for never came.I opened one eye to find Akihiro staring in horror at something at my feet.

I looked down.

Igao laid on the ground in front of me,blood pooling from a wound in his head.A big wound.It was dark red in the center,so dark I thought I could see all the way through his head.
