Everyone was waiting for us in the room outside the elevator.Their faces were one of two colors,sheet white or deep green.Maiko was sitting crisscross on the floor,her stony face showing off her resolve.

Upon seeing us enter Kimiko did her usual thing and berated me for being late.

"Honestly Shizuko this is ridiculous!We've been waiting here for about ten minutes!"

I should be grateful she can still get mad at me in a situation like this.

"My apologies we were a bit tied up."Igao explained.

"I expected no less from Shizuko,but I expected better from you Akihiro."Kimiko gave Akihiro a dissapointed yet furious stare.Under her glare Akihiro looked at his feet in shame.

"It was our fault he was late,we got so caught up in questioning him and we didn't want to stop."I spoke up.Igao glanced at me funny,but did not call out my lie.

"That's no excuse!You all should have been ready for the trial!What would've happened if Monokuma-"

"-had shown up and reprimanded you all?"

"Eek!"Kimiko let out a small scream of surprise.Monokuma had shown up and finished her sentence in an falsetto that was surely meant to mock her.

"And given the circumstances,Akihiro nudge nudge wink wink."Akihiro drooped a little."I can accept your tardiness with flexibility.However note that there will be a consequence to this!"Monokuma waved his little paw and broke into a fit of giggles."Pleade board the elevator and descend to the trial grounds."With that Monokuma wriggled his butt one more time and disappeared.

We all sat in a pool of silence for a while.No one wanted to board the elevator.To do that would mean we would have to learn the truth behind Satoru's death,but it would also mean abandoning another friend to death.The last two times were hard enough.Fumiko and Shoichi were killed by us.

So where is their trial?!They deserve one too!

"Nothing else to do but get this over with."Yoshio took a deep breath and entered the elevator.Kimiko nodded once to herself as if steeling her nerves and followed soon after.Maiko kicked off the ground and ran in.Takumi shook in fear but continued in anyway.Pretty soon all of us,after preparing ourselves for the worst,had stepped into our chariot to the trial.

"Eeeeeh !"

Takumi let out a scream as a floorboard gave way under his foot.His one leg was completely swallowed up by the dark recesses.

"Here."Akihiro gave Takumi a hand and lifted him out of the hole with ease.

"Th-thanks."He gave Akihiro a sheepish grin and continued to his podium.

The trial grounds were even more destroyed than ever before.The floor boards ended up falling apart under Yoichi,Tomoko and Maiko.There were spiders crawling along the floor and large cobwebs spreading across the corners of the room.Each of us hurried to our podiums where there was safe ground to stand on.

"Now that we are all seated."Monokuma began when we were indeed,all seated at our respective podiums."Let's begin the class trial!"

"J-just to be clear...the m-motive this t-time was indeed th-the island?"Tomoko glanced around nervously.

"Last time,Shoichi had a bit of a different motive than each of us.He wanted to set his brother free,it wasn't necessarily a precious item to him."Kimiko explained.
