A Nickname

*I might not be able to update on the weekend,but odds are I can...geebus I said I would update twice a week this summer but I haven't been very adept at that.I sorry please be patient with me.*

I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

Well,I could as it was the third time it had happened,but that didn't change the fact that I was staring at something so horrible once again...

...the body of one of my friends.

HALF AN HOUR EARLIER

"Kimiko did you ever get that coffee out of your shirt?"Aya asked sipping on some tea.I was sitting diagonal to her listening Tomoko list off possible nicknames for Satoru.We were the only three left in the Dining Hall after the disaster of a lunch we had.Kimiko entered in a crisp white shirt devoid of any stain.

"Yes,fortunately.I do wish I had had some company however,I did spend a lot of time trying to get that stain out.I even missed our lunch!"She sat down and started to scoop some of Minako's potato salad onto a plate.

"I wouldn't."I advised."Yoshio did a face plant in that."

Kimiko immediately dropped the spoon and looked at us quizzically.

"Don't assume that you having coffee spilled over you was the high point of the party."Aya sipped again."By the way sorry about that."

"Oh it's not your fault Aya."Kimiko waved her off."It was the fault of a certain acrobat jumping around like a fool."She glared as if Maiko could see her and feel bad about her actions.

Not that she would feel apologetic if she were here.

"Hey you wouldn't happen to know where Satoru went do you?I have to have a discussion with him regarding the amount of floors in this school."

"Oh yeah!We don't know how many more floors we will be able to get!"I raised my eyebrows.

Jeez Shizuko start thinking about this stuff!

"Maiko w-wanted to meet S-Satoru in the Rec Room!Maybe he went th-there to see Maiko early!"Tomoko piped up.

So I guess we can rule out the Rec Room.

".....n't believe...........so reckless.........what it does.........."

I could faintly pick up a male voice outside the Dining Hall.It sounded annoyed.Thinking it was Satoru I got out of my seat and walked out the door.

The sight that greeted me was very different from what I was expecting.It filled me with a dread I couldn't quite place.

It was Akihiro and Yoshio.In between them,fuming and pouting,was Maiko.

"What are you two doing?"I asked cautiously.

"We need to talk to Kimiko about this one."Akihiro looked scary again.Thinking it would be best to do as he said I called to Kimiko,and within moments she was beside me,as well as Tomoko and Aya.

"What did Maiko do this time?"Kimiko asked.

"Absolutely nothing!"Maiko huffed."Maiko did nothing!This is a violation of Maiko's rights!"

Kimiko ignored Maiko and asked Yoshio to explain.

"You know that machine in the Physics Lab?"Yoshio asked.We nodded.

"Maiko broke it."Akihiro growled.

Kimiko and Aya gasped.I felt my eyes widen.Tomoko shook a little.

"How did she manage that?!"I was flabbergasted."Satoru couldn't even turn that thing off!"

"It would be pretty easy if you had a hammer."Yoshio looked more annoyed than angry."She took one of those hammers from the art room and smashed it to hell."
