Hopes Peaks Fall

*Yes I'm updating on Monday.Because my keyboard was freaking out and wasn't working properly.Then we had to clean our house and I needed to do summer homework.Btw I might not be able to get the next update out on Wednesday due to a family thing,but if I do,YAY!!!*

I followed Igao out of the Dining Hall to the dormitories.He said nothing as he took step after hasty step towards Tomoko's dorm.

Not like I expected him to be chatty Kathy.

"Shizuko"Igao called out.I jumped a little.We were standing just outside Tomoko's door and staring face to face with her portrait.

"Yeah?"

"Did you hear any of our classmates talk about having Tomoko guarded during the day?"He asked.

"Uh...!"I nearly slapped myself in the face.Without saying another word I stepped past Igao and opened the door myself.

I'm being stupid for worrying.Tomoko is rarely by herself,she's always hanging out with Yoshio or Minako or someone else,he wouldn't be desperate enough to catch her on the rare occasions she's by herself!

I stepped in and was greeted with the worst possible sight.

Monokuma was standing on Tomoko's bed.Tomoko was standing next to her drawer,staring at him with wide eyes as if she didn't believe what she was seeing.

"Tomoko!"I cried out moving to her side swiftly.Behind me,Igao was walking leisurely in.

"Oho!Hello Shizuko!Igao!I was just about to give Tomoko a little history lesson!"Monokuma waved at us like a child.

"Monokuma get the hell out of here!"I seethed.

"Puhuhu!Remember Miss Hisakawa,no lyyyyyyiiiing!!!"Speaking with a sing song voice,Monokuma jumped off the bed and disappeared out the open door.

"Are you ok Tomoko?"I looked her over once.She was shaking fiercely,but looked okay otherwise.

"Y-y-you kept your p-promise."She looked up at me with wide eyes.

"Of course I did!"

"From now on,ask someone to go with you when you need to stray away from the group.Make up an excuse."Igao looked at her calmly,a real difference to what I looked like.

"B-But!"Tomoko suddenly looked terrified."Th-that's lying!!!"She looked close to tears at the very thought of lying again.If Monokumas lesson was to teach Tomoko to never lie ever again,he was doing a damn good job.

"You won't be tortured anymore if you lie like that."Igao seemed not to notice how horrified she was.

"I-I can't!!!"She shook her head feverishly.

"Igao stop it please!"I pled with him.

He wouldn't still make her lie would he?!

"Ok."Igao shrugged as if he didn't care.I heard Tomoko and myself sigh in relief.

"But I want you to talk to us."Igao eyed her steadily.

A lightbulb went off in my head.

So...did he tell her to lie...just to see whether she would lie to us or not?I don't know how I feel about that...

Igao looked at me directly.

Oh!He wants me to ask her...right.

"Tomoko..."I started."Do you think you could tell us what Monokuma has been telling you?"

"No!"Tomoko immediately shook her head.

"Please Tomoko,it might be important."I knew she wouldn't give I that easily.
