Double Trouble

"....ey.....hey..........HEY!!!"

I floated back to earth and looked around me.Takumi was shaking me,Tomoko was in the corner of the room vomiting.

"Shizuko we have to begin,you know we do."Takumi looked green at the prospect of investigating the mess before us."Tomoko?"he called back to her from where he stood."Wash up quick in the locker room then go get the others."Tomoko nodded once,wiped off her mouth,then walked out the door.

"Hey...Takumi."I tried to make my voice strong,but I'm pretty sure it came out as a whisper."This...is the library."He nodded,not quite getting it."Minako said she was going to the library..."

Takumi gasped.Apparently he remembered too."So maybe she saw it happen and knows who it was!"

I shook my head."If she had come here she would have been caught,or she would have done something to stop it."I felt my palms turn cold."So what if she..."

It would make sense,sorta.Her getting killed,then Masaru walks in,sees it,and gets killed himself.But if that were true,then where was the body?

Takumi didn't share the same fears I had.

"She probably left before the murder took place."But I saw doubt cross his eyes,as it hadn't been too long since we all split up that the screaming began.

"She...she's fine."I mumbled to myself.Takumi heard this and put a hand on my shoulder.

"For now we need to investigate Masaru's body,any that turn up later we can take in stride."I knew he was right,but my fear was still there.

"Uh...Perhaps I came at the wrong time!"

Takumi jumped away from the door,where Monokuma was standing with a pile if folders in his tiny arms.

"I wanted to give these to you guys now but,are you two gonna be okay?Then again,if something funky goes down I would be a part of it!!!Never mind!Carry on!"

"Just give us the damn books."Takumi walked towards him and snatched the folders out of his grip.I was a bit shocked,to hear and see him act so tough.It was kinda comical,him acting all strong and badass.Looking back on it,he must've been putting up that front for me.

"Your Welcome!"Monokuma called indignantly.He turned with a huff and ran off.

I started to pore over the Monokuma File.

Victim:Masaru Nakahara

Time of Death:12:08 am

Discovered in the Library.

Cause of Death:Extreme blunt force trauma to the head.

Details:Masaru tried to fight back.

"Hey,Shizuko."Takumi pointed to the Time of Death area.Then he looked at his wristwatch."It's 12:10 right now."

I recalled seeing his eyelids flicker a bit when we had entered.But he was no longer moving an inch."We should look around."

"Do you two require any help?"

I turned around quickly,to see Igao standing at the door looking superior.

"Where have you been?"I asked.He hadn't been present to any of our group meetings in so long.I was not only worried about him,but suspicious.

"I've been searching for my belongings,just like everyone else.Now I ask again.Do you need any help?"

"Since when are you someone who offers help?"Takumi didn't say it in a rude way,he was honestly curious.
