The elevator slid down,a grinding sound squealing from the moving metal every once in a while.I edged towards the side and looked down into the elevator shaft.It was complete darkness aside from a tiny light shining at the very bottom.

Someone else is going to die...I haven't even had a chance to properly mourn Maiko and Takumi...there wasn't even time to cry for them.

Yoichi looked shaky on his legs as the elevator shook.He leaned against the wall for support.

Who could have killed two people?

Igao looked calm and stoic,not budging an inch even as the concrete walls passed by us.

Who would've killed two people and attempted a third?

Minako was pale and wringing her hands together.

We still don't know who the traitor is...Minako hasn't said anything about the matter yet.

The elevator finally stopped.It opened its doors so slow it was like torture.

If the Trial Grounds ever looked in need of repair,it was then.The floorboards that looked so weak and frail before were rotting and there were more holes in the floor.In fact it was much easier to see the concrete and pipes under the floor than it was to see the floor itself.The ceiling girders were groaning in pain at the weight of their loads,like they could give way at any moment.The rats that were once peeking running around underneath the floor were gone,probably because of the lack of cover.However they were poking their heads out of exposed pipes every now and then.

"Do we really have to do this...here?!"Aya looked frantic,not stepping out of the elevator,instead taking curative glances at the furry friends.

"Take better care of this place dammit."Yoichi muttered sounding like himself.

There was no way the boards would support our weight anymore.We had to step carefully on the concrete underneath.Aya danced over it as quickly as possible until she reached the safety of her podium.As always they were the only things in the room that looked like they were maintained properly.

"This is getting a bit old."I groaned as I pulled myself up onto my place.

"Stop complaining!"Monokuma was already in his seat,which of course was in great shape as well."You all know the rules!Find the blackened by the end of this trial,if you can't then you're dead!So let's start discussing this double homocide!"

"According to Maiko's Monokuma File she died early in the morning when we were all asleep."Aya started.

"So why would she go to the Garden?She should have been asleep and had no way of knowing that the fifth floor was open."Yoshio looked at his e-Handbook."Was she invited?"

"No,we searched her room,there was no note anywhere."Minako dismissed him."Was there a note on the body?"

"If there was there's a good chance it was destroyed by that plant too."I shuddered as I recalled the sight of Maiko's body."But we never found one."

"But do you really think Maiko was really invited?"Akihiro asked."I mean, she was always a free spirit.Perhaps she was the one who opened it in the first place."

Igao shook his head."No,then the killer would have been the one in the dark.They wouldn't have killed her in the Garden because they didn't know it existed yet."

"Well maybe she wasn't even killed in the Garden."Aya argued."I mean it's just like Yoshies case,just because we found her somewhere doesn't necessarily mean she was killed there."
