The night was cold and lonely.Like I was an acorn,floating on the surface of a lake...waiting to either wash up on the shore or to sink to the bottom.But for the time being I was just floating there,nothing around me,all alone.

Maybe it's not healthy how close I've grown with everyone.

It was the night after the whole Yoichi debacle.I had been in contact with all my friends since the moment I woke up.We all stayed in the infirmary,talking to each other about nothing.After the day we had,I couldn't bring myself to tell everyone about what was on my laptop.So instead I joined everyone in a game Maiko called,"See Who Falls Off The Spinny Chair First."We each took turns standing on the revolving chair while someone else spun them around at a fairly high speed.

Wait...not everyone...

Igao hadn't come back to the infirmary after he left.It seemed the topic of how he was able to shoot Yoichi was one he didn't want to brush upon again...so much that he was going to wait about hearing what I wanted to tell everyone...

It must be a really touchy subject if he's waiting...come to think of it he started acting strange before then...

I recalled how rattled he became when I was defending Yoichi.

I wonder why that is?

I shrugged.I had taken a seat on my bed,when I realized how alone I was which began my whole internal madness.

Yeah.I shouldn't be thinking about this stuff.Its only one night,I'll see them all again tomorrow.Yeah.We have to search the new floor,look for a new means of escape.We also have to get a place ready for Tomoko's concert.Afterwards I can talk to everyone about my computer.

After assuring myself of that once again I crawled under my covers.Reluctantly I closed my eyes,whispering assurances that everyone would be alive when I opened them again.Assuring myself that I wouldn't be attacked again.

But a knock at the door interrupted this.

My eyes shot open and I dashed out of bed towards the door.

Tomoko was standing there.A sleeping bag and pillow in hand.

I guess it's my turn to be her room mate.

I didn't get much sleep that night,but I didn't care.Between giggling with Tomoko about Akihiro's nickname (We had teased him about it in the infirmary,eliciting small grunts of annoyance that made him look like a frustrated little boy) movies that we had seen and watching out for Monokuma I didn't get the chance.But I wasn't alone,so I was okay.

"Good morning you two."Akihiro greeted us as we walked into the Dining Hall.He and Yoshio were discussing something before we entered.

"Hi guys."I waved to them stifling a yawn.

Aya was sipping a cup of coffee across from the two guys.Minako and Takumi were arguing about something in the Kitchen.Maiko and Igao had yet to show up.

"Any signs of that little twerp?"Yoshio asked.

"N-nope!Everything was fine!"Tomoko smiled and took a seat next to him.She had been getting more and more cheerful by the day.

"That's good.You're rooming with me tonight,so I'll be sure to stand in guard."Aya gave Tomoko a little thumbs up.Tomoko's smile grew.

"I said not so much flour!"

"I had to because you went so overboard with the eggs!"

"Uh..."I took a seat next to Aya,turning my head to look at the Kitchen door."What are those two doing?"
