I didn't dream that night.

In the morning I got up and headed for the fourth floor, not even bothering to go to breakfast.

I don't have that kind of time.

Like I had expected, the doors that wouldn't open before were opening with no problem. The room with the Monokuma head on it was my first target.

Inside was a very high tech room with many monitors on the walls and large computers sat on dark desks.A TV sat on one of the desks. There was,of course,a security camera in there as well and I could see the footage of me being in the room being displayed on one of the monitors. On the opposite wall was another door with Monokumas face on it.

I checked the desks for anything of value, but there was nothing.I turned the TV on but nothing was being displayed, even after checking all of the channels.I turned on one of the computers and tried to fiddle around with it,but too many restrictions were put on it for me to be able to search it.

I went through the other door and saw a very strange room. There was a large control panel with two paw prints on it.Joysticks and buttons of seemingly endless colors and sizes ran from one end of the panel to e other.

"Is this where the mastermind controls Monokuma?"

The voice behind me startled me and I quickly turned around.Aya and Yoshio were standing there, checking out the room.

"What are you guys doing here?"I asked a stupid question, because it was all I could do.

"Well we couldn't wait for you at the table forever,so we started investigating.Akihiro is hitting up the bio lab while Minako is checking out the second floor of the dormitories.Yoichi decided to check the dorms of the dead one more time.Nagito went tot the Headmasters Office,to see if we can find out anything about the students in despair."Yoshio stepped closer to the control panel and ran his hand along the buttons."No dust,so it must have been used recently."

"Yeah and the paw prints make it painfully obvious that this is what controls Monokuma."Aya raised one eyebrow in annoyance."That wasn't really necessary."

"I don't think there's anything else in here.Lets check the second floor now."Yoshio started to walk away, but Aya lingered.

"How are you feeling?"Aya asked me.

I hung me head."My head is a bit clearer now."

She nodded."So do you regret what you said yesterday?"

I shook my head. She nodded again."I didn't think you would be."

Finally she started out the door as well, her long dark hair waving with each step. Before I was out of earshot I heard her say,"When you didn't show up we were all terrified."

With that I was left alone just as quickly as I had been in the company of some good friends.I stood there, trying to make sure I wouldn't shatter any more than I had.

Why did you have to say that at a time like this?I was gonna be fine...

I was about to leave the control room when I noticed a small door on the floor. It was metallic and had a thin rod of a handle sticking out of it.Without thinking I opened the door.

There was nothing down there.

It was a small crawl space about the width of an ordinary door on each side, and about as deep as you'd expect a refrigerator to be.

I don't know what I was expecting to see in there, but I was quite surprised to see it was empty.

With that I left the control room back into the one with the monitors.I unconsciously looked at them again to make sure everyone was alright.
