The water fell on lan zhan making him all wet. Water was dripping from his sharp jaw and his clothes. Lan zhan's proposal was failed so badly.
Lan Qiren was almost close to him so wei wuxian decided to run cause he thought that Lan Qiren is looking for him.

Lan Qiren left and it seems like lan Qiren was coming at the direction of the discipline who broke a rule and not at wei wuxian or lan wangji
