One day, Lan zhan suddenly caught a cold and skipped the lecture that day.
He went out with his brother on night hunt in the morning but due to sudden rain and no residence near by he had to run in rain I'm order to return to Cloud recesses .
He returned to room at evening, he's feeling tired so he decided to take a nap and after few minutes his body caught a cold immediately and his body temperature increased.
Other the side, wei wuxian was missing Lan zhan from the morning. It's 8 pm now and still he doesn't know anything about Lan zhan.
He started to worry about him and decided to ask Lan Qiren about it.
On the way he found Lan Xichen. They exchanged greetings and came to the point.
Wei wuxian asked, "Sect leader, Do you know where's Lan zhan ?", Lan Xichen replied, "He's resting in his room".

He opened the door and found Lan zhan in a deep sleep but by his looks he seemed really weak and tired.
Wei wuxian sat beside Lan zhan then checked his temperature and found out that Lan zhan has a high fever.
Lan zhan felt wei wuxian's warmth so opened his eyes slightly and found wei wuxian beside him saying,"Lan zhan! You have a high fever. How are you feeling right? Do you want me to get you something? Wait,I'll call Lan Xichen."
Wei wuxian got up but was immediately pulled back by Lan zhan.
Lan zhan said, "Don't leave me....., stay with me.......please", wei wuxian argued,"Lan zhan don't be stubborn. I need to bring medicine and something to wipe your forehead with"
Lan zhan pouted and requested, "Please don't leave me..., i only need you here". Lan Zhan is Stubborn to the core.
Lan zhan then puts his head on wei wuxian's laps. Wei wuxian sighed then started using his spiritual powers to reduce the Fever.
When Lan zhan felt asleep again, wei wuxian slowly puts Lan zhan on the pillow then leaves to get medicine.
He went back to his room and picked up a few medicines then goes to kitchen to look for something to give to Lan zhan.
Unfortunately, everything was finished so he has to cook . He knows that his cooking is poison but what can he do now .
Lan zhan's already starving from afternoon and has a Fever. Wei wuxian can't leave Lan zhan starving.
He decided to cook congee. Luckily, his dear ShiJie taught him how to make it previously and it wasn't bad at all.
Wei wuxian started cooking congee and good is that he didn't touched the spices. Finally, he cooked the congee without any mistakes.
It tasted plane like it should. He packed the congee in a basket with medicine and other things then came back rushing to Jingshi.
There in the Jingshi, Lan Zhan's sleep broke again due to the headache. He didn't felt wei wuxian's warmth which made him stunned and he got up immediately.
He felt really dizzy. Lan zhan looked around to find Wei wuxian but he didn't. When he was gonna get up from the bed, he heard someone knocking on the window.
Lan zhan opened the window and became relieved cause it's wei wuxian.
Lan zhan immediately grabbed wei wuxian's wrist not wanting him to disappear again.

Wei wuxian came in with a basket. He took out the congee he made for Lan zhan. Lan zhan extended his hand to get it but wei wuxian said, "Stubborn, I'll feed you".
Wei wuxian blowed the congee to cool it down then took a sip from the spoon to check it's temperature.
Then he fed to Lan zhan with affection. After finishing it , he asked, "Lan zhan, had you wash yourself after returning ?".
Lan zhan shaked his head in response. Wei wuxian scolded, "Don't you remember to wash yourself after soaking in the rain ?".
Wei wuxian got up to prepare the bath tub for Lan zhan as it could help him get better soon.
Wei wuxian came in and said, "Come on, let's wash you", Lan zhan tried to stand up but almost fell immediately from the dizziness.
Wei wuxian said,"If you can't stand up then why even try ? Am I a ghost ? ", Lan zhan got a little confused at the last .
Wei wuxian came forward then took both his hands and wraped it around his neck . Then bended down along little and turned around then carried Lan zhan on his back.
Lan zhan was surprised and overjoyed at wei wuxian's affectionate scolds and actions.
Wei wuxian puts Lan zhan in the wooden bath tub then started removing his robes.
Wei wuxian then start to wash Lan Zhan's hands. Lan zhan was staring at him affectionately while wei wuxian rubbed the soap on his hands.
Lan zhan smiled softly then bended backwards. Wei wuxian looked at Lan Zhan who was staring at him.
It's like the world around them stops when their eyes met eachother. The tension between them increased by time as they were busy in admiring eachother.
Wei wuxian smiled and looked away then switched to wash his chest. Lan zhan got excited when wei wuxian's hand slided down his chest gently.
By every slide, Lan zhan was turning on . The tension between them became intensive and irresistible.
Wei wuxian cleaned every part of Lan Zhan's body but Lan zhan got chills go down his spine when wei wuxian soft hands touched his thighs.
