The water demon

Everyone were set on their boats on the river with the Water ghosts which was a Aqua demon. Lan XiChen in the front followed by the fellow Lan cultivators then comes our couple , behind then were Jiang Cheng and Wen siblings.

Wei wuxian and Lan zhan knew that the Aqua demon would Target Lan zhan first but they waited for it to fall in their trap so that everything could go as it was in the past.

However, things took a wild turn without our main leads not even imaging it to ever happen.

Instead of gathering around Lan Zhan's boat, the Aqua demon gathered around Wei wuxian's boat but none of them noticed as they were only focused on Lan Zhan's boat.

Suddenly the Aqua demon attacked and flipped the boat making wei wuxian bounce in the air.

Lan zhan, completely shocked as wei wuxian is but first he chose save Wei wuxian. He jumped from his boat then landed and jumped from wei wuxian's boat which was still in air.

He reached to wei wuxian and caught wei wuxian's waist tightly then they fell on Lan Zhan's boat on top of eachother.

Their lips were pressed against eachother by accident infront of everyone.

Everyone's face was flushed because of this accident between Lan zhan and Wei wuxian except for Lan Xichen as he knew they were dating but had a shocked expression because of this situation.

Wen Qing scolded, "A Ning ! What are you looking at ? Focus, this water ghosts can attack anytime", she was too flushed with his accident and made her brother look away.

Jiang Cheng froze in place with blank mind and jaw dropped. For God sake, what just happened infront of him. He surely wished it was a dream but it wasn't. Hell , he wished to be blind at his moment.

They got up but didn't give any reaction as they have done countless times and the important thing was to catch the Aqua demo

All eyes were on them. "THERE , THE AQUA DEMON", alerted wei wuxian to Jiang Cheng who was still questioning what happened now.

The Aqua demon attacked Jiang Cheng and bit his Legs but luckily didn't flip his boat around. He didn't even had time to notice the Aqua demon.

Wen qing came to help the injured Jiang Cheng by jumping from her boat to his boat but the main surprise was that wen qing isn't the only one who jumped from her boat and came to help Jiang Cheng with his injury.

Lan XiChen jumped and stood in the opposite side of Wen qing and both of them helped him to get up by holding him.

Jiang Cheng became more confused about the present situation. Why would the Wen qing and Lan xichen come to help him at the same time.

He exchanged gaze with Wen qing first then with Lan xichen. Both of them look concerned about Jiang Cheng.

Wen qing gave him the medicine and Lan xichen along with Wen qing applied it for Jiang Cheng.

Lan zhan and Wei wuxian stared at them then wei wuxian broke the silence by whispering to Lan zhan,"Looks like it's a Love Triangle or there must be something we are unaware of....."

Lan zhan nodded his head in agreement. Is there something going behind there background ?

However, there was no time for being goofy because it's not like was in the past. Why would the Aqua demon target Wei wuxian instead of Lan zhan ? Is it history really changing itself ? Or is it a beginning to a new history?

The Aqua demon then gathered around Wangxian's boat but luckily they realised it and jumped right before the Aqua demon could attack.

They unsheathed their swords and rode them then alerted, "Everyone ride your Swords now !!!"

Everyone started to ride their swords and escaped the Aqua demon except for Sushe.

Wen Ning saw him and risked his life to save him but wei wuxian went to save both their lives along with Lan zhan.

Lan zhan carried Wen Ning but Wei wuxian hesitated to save Sushe. He questioned, 'Should i let him die here itself ?'

That moment of pause was more than enough to pull wei wuxian in the water for the Aqua demon.

Sushe got his sword back and left without looking at wei wuxian. Lan zhan mind got blank when he saw wei wuxian being pulled by Aqua demon.

He screamed,"WEI YING!!"

He handed Wen Ning to Wen qing and then jumped in the water to save Wei wuxian.

Everyone panicked because of Lan zhan and Wei wuxian and on the other hand Sushe blamed, "This Wei wuxian is full of pride and himself!! He could have saved me before"

Everyone heard this and looked with eyes full of rage towards Sushe. Sushe shut his mouth down and stood silently.

Jiang Cheng was ready to throw hands on Sushe but this time it's more important to save Wei wuxian and Lan zhan's life.
