Wei wuxian approached wen ning scaring him but after talking to him for a few minutes, wen ning made him as his close friend.

Wei wuxian turned to look who dare to do this. He got shocked that it was lan zhan who seems to have drunk vinegar just now. ( Drinking vinegar means jealousy)
Wei wuxian whined,"Ai ? Lan zhan! What're you doing ? Untie me now!", lan zhan didn't listen to him.
Wei wuxian then asked ,"were you drinking vinegar or something? Did you see me with wen ning?"
Lan zhan didn't say anything making wei wuxian suspicion a fact. Wei wuxian tried to explain, "Lan zhannnn! Stop drinking vinegar, I was just teaching him."
Lan zhan refused to listen to his explanation. He pulled the wei wuxian with ribbon so that wei wuxian follow him and don't mess around.
Lan zhan dragged wei wuxian straight to the library pavilion and didn't show any mercy while wei wuxian requested to roam around.

Don't get Wen qing wrong. She's just a overprotective sister towards wen ning as he's fragile and was bullied his whole childhood plus he's the only family she has. In addition, they're from wen clan and are in control of Wen ruohan who threatened wen qing with the life of wen ning and she doesn't wanna lose him so she just follow what he says. So she can't be friends with any other clan disciplines and especially can't trust them. I hope you understand her perspective .
Lan Qiren thought that sending lan zhan to straighten out wei wuxian would actually leave a little impact but instead wei wuxian got more spoilt and naughty because of lan zhan.
