Wei wuxian's Awakening

Wei wuxian's pov :

As I and Lan zhan came down to help Wen Ning and Sushe, I was hesitant to help Sushe out because why not let him die and the half of the drama will vanish. But what if he's not the same as he was ?

As I was drowned in my thoughts, a strong thing climbed on my feet and pulled me under water in the snap of a finger.

I couldn't process what happened in the moment but I know now for sure that I have to escape this strong Aqua demon. I tried my best to get rid of that thing from my leg but it seems like............... The thing is now connected with me ?

However, i didn't give up there, I wanna go up and tell Lan zhan that I'm fine. I used my spiritual energy but it seems like this is nothing for the Aqua demon.

I gave my all strength to reach the top but I was only sinking deeper and deeper that my lungs were out of air and I started to get weaker due it.

Slowly my lungs were all filling with water and was losing my consciousness. I looked here and there for something that could keep me alive.

Then my eyes caught the glimpse of the Aqua demon. My silver eyes turned bloody red as I felt the resentment and demonic energy in that Aqua demon.

Suddenly my resentful / demonic energy started pumping in my veins and it took control of me. My eyes got fierce with anger rising inside me. The red silk ribbon which was mother's was plucked open and it freed my hair making it spread around.

I turned around and grabbed it with my hand immediately not wanting to loose the last thing left by my parents.

I kept my mom's red ribbon on my heart when I realised that I was gonna die and there's no possible way for me to survive.

I closed my eyes and the last words that came out of my mouth were,'Lan Zhan'.............. I lost my consciousness but atleast I died with a smile which came because of my Soulmate, Lan Zhan.

though i should have been dead by now but looks like the heaven's have a different plan for me.
I opened eyes in the middle of the deep & dark ocean.

Strange thing is that i wasn't alone............... I sensed a kind of energy.......more like a mysterious powerful resentful energy.

I was shocked to find myself still breathing instead of being dead ! It's really fascinating.

Although it was all dark. Somehow, I noticed that there was something surrounding me tightly. It was in red and black color.

I don't know what that was but my gut feeling told me that I'm familiar with it........................it's like a long hidden part of me.

I was suddenly filled with curiosity to know about it. I tried to control myself but the urge to find out what it is took control of me.

I stretched my hand to touch it. Suddenly, all the red and black energy surrounding me started to gather on my palm.

My eyes widened as I frightened in disbelief but bravely closed my eyes in attempt to perform empathy.

As I saw its story , the energy penetrated deeper inside me without my acknowledgement . As the empathy continued I was left speechless.

My eyes automatically opened in horror from what I saw. I retreated in horror and screamed hoping someone could help out of this nightmare.

Unfortunately, all i could hear was the echo of my scream but saw no light of hope. I was suffering enough that I curled up my lower body and buried my face in my knees with my hands trying to avoid the sound repeating in my mind by covering my ears.

Tears shed from my eyes and the color of iris turned red again. I started coughing uncontrollably.

'Welcome back the emperor of the dark', was all I heard in the end of my empathy and it's still repeating in my mind.

It's driving me crazy. How could I be the 'Emperor of the dark' ? Well, during the empathy I saw none other than 'myself'.

All of a sudden, I was struggling to breathe again and my lungs were already filling with water. I released my knees and stood in the water. I spread my hands laterally and closed my eyes . A few drops of blood came out from my mouth and then i loss my consciousness.

Third person's pov

Wei wuxian was drowning in water but someone came tearing the water like light in pure white robes. He was Lan Zhan.

Lan zhan dive deeper and deeper in the water and was about to loose his consciousness but suddenly the water surrounding him started to glow in blue colour.

This helped him to be conscious and dive even deeper. Lan zhan didn't think of it much as he got to save his Wei wuxian first.

He looked here and there but couldn't catch a glimpse of wei wuxian. He dived even deeper and it got darker but miraculously where ever Lan zhan goes, the place lit up like Lan zhan has my spiritual power that allows him to do this.

Where ever Lan zhan goes, he takes light with him. It was a like a energy inside him protecting him. He decided to pause for a moment and feel the waves and follow his intuition which told him to stop right there and feel where wei wuxian is.

Out of nowhere, he ended up feeling his soulmate's presence nearby. He followed his feelings and found wei wuxian surrounded with some red and black energy around him.

Lan zhan didn't think much of it and stretched his hand towards wei wuxian and suprisingly all the energy penetrated back inside wei wuxian and Lan zhan could finally see wei wuxian.

He grabbed wei wuxian's waist and swam upwards as quickly as possible.
