Aretia

"Get in the bed now." Zara ordered with her hands on her hips. Garrick had taken the box that Zara had grabbed from the clocktower. He had to take it to the Assembly. Bodhi was being stubborn with his arm. Brennan was going to come look at it after he saved Violet. They were in his room.

"Get in the bath, Z." Bodhi growled, moving closer to her. Zara moved out of his reach. She needed a bath or shower, but she was worried about Bodhi's arm.

"I don't want a bath. I just want you to lay down." Zara points to the bed. "Now."

"Yes, mom." Bodhi grumbled and got in the bed after pulling off his boots. Zara moved to the bed after she pulled her weapons off and set them on the table. The room was big with a huge bed. The windows were huge with balcony.

"Does Garrick have a room here as well?" Zara asked.

"Yes. His father was Fen's right hand man. My mother was his sister." Bodhi said.

"So where do I sleep?" Zara smirked as the door opened.

"Well we could pick one of our rooms and share a bed." Garrick smirked as he came into the room. Zara smiled.

"Get her into the bath. She won't let me get her in the bath." Bodhi said. Zara shot him a glare.

"Well your to be resting. Your arm is fractured." Zara said. Bodhi laid out on the bed. "There will be no sex with you till that arm is healed." Bodhi groaned and Garrick chuckled. Zara came up to him. The scar was a little red, but it didn't cause him to loose an eye. "You alright?"

"Yes. It hurt like hell. But it's a battle scar." Garrick said. Zara smiled.

"And you still look handsome." Zara said. Garrick smiled. A knock on the door came and Brennan came in. "How is she?"

"She'll be fine. We don't know how much the poison damaged her or side effects, but she'll live." Brennan said. Zara sighed in relief. "So rumor is true that you are seeing Tavis and Durran." All three nodded. "How did your father take it?"

"Not well. He's trying to marry me off to a noble." Zara said as Brennan looked over Bodhi's arm.

"It's fractured in four places." Brennan said. Zara sucked in a breath. Bodhi groaned. "Your going to be in a sling for awhile."

"What about sex?" Zara glared at Bodhi.

"Might want to take a break till your healed." Brennan put a hand on Bodhi's arm. Garrick was snickering. Zara elbowed him.

"It's gonna be fun torturing you." Zara smirked. Bodhi glared at her and yelled in pain as Brennan started to mend his arm.

"Go get in the shower. He might be a bit." Garrick said. Zara looked at Bodhi. "I'll stay with him." Zara leaned up and kissed Garrick's check and snatches a shirt.

Zara stood leaning against the shower wall, letting the water run down her body.

Venin. Wyvern. They were all real and Zara got to fight them. And her father wanted to keep it hidden. Cam was going to have a field day. Zara came out and dried off. Garrick knocked and poked his head in.

"You were in there for awhile." Garrick said.

"Just upset. Father wants to keep this hidden." Zara said. Garrick stepped in and pulled Zara into a hug. "I don't like they want to keep this hidden. So much destruction and death."

"You are not like your father. You know the truth now." Garrick said. Zara looked up at Garrick.

"I want to tell Cam. Tell him when we go for the wedding. Everything. Please. He thinks they are hiding stuff too." Zara said. Garrick nodded.

"It's up to you and I know Cam will keep it." Garrick said. Zara slid on Bodhi's shirt.

"Bodhi alright?" Zara asked.

"He's sleeping. Tomorrow. We will show you around Aretia." Garrick said. Zara nodded. "We're not leaving till Violet wakes up." Garrick didn't miss the exhaustion in Zara's eyes. "Let's get you in bed." Garrick led her into Bodhi's room. Bodhi was sleeping. Zara crawled into bed and snuggled into Bodhi's side. Bodhi turned his head towards Zara as Garrick got in bed. Zara reached for him and Garrick curled up to her. They survived their first Venin fight. They lost Liam and Soleil, but they survived. Zara buried her face in Bodhi's shoulder as Garrick kissed her check. Zara let sleep take her as she curled with the two men she cared about.
