Making it to Graduation

Basgiath Flight Field came into view. Zara flew between Garrick and Bodhi. Tairn was ahead to get Andarna into the Vale after dropping off Violet. Sgaeyl was right behind him.

'Call for me if you need a quick escape.' Adish said.

'Hopefully the plan will work out.' Zara said. Tairn and Sgaeyl take off as Adish lands on the ground. Zara makes sure her bag is on her back as she slides off. Adish turns his head as Cuir and Chradh land beside him.

'You made a good choice with that fight, Fire One. I knew you would when the time came. You did well.' Adish said. Zara rubbed her hand down his neck.

'We'll be leaving tonight to go home.' Zara said. Adish growled. 'Don't you growl at me.'

'I don't like your family but your brothers, but we are bringing your younger brother back. We'll see you three tonight. Adish said. Adish, Chradh, and Cuir take off to the Vale. Garrick and Bodhi come up to Zara.

"Ready?" Zara asked.

"No." Bodhi groaned.

"Let's get this over with." Garrick said.

"You want to leave us so soon?" Zara asked, glaring at him.

"No. Just want to see if we live or die with this plan. I get a few more days with you two before I go to my post." Garrick said. They all come up to Xaden and Violet as they were talking. Xaden straightens his shoulders.

"Everyone clear on what's about to happen?" Xaden asked. Zara stood between Garrick and Bodhi.

"Let's do this." Zara said.

"We're ready." Garrick rolls his neck.

"Ready." Masen said, adjusting his glasses. Everyone agrees.

"Let's do it." Violet lifts her chin. Xaden stares at Violet long and hard and nods. Zara felt her stomach twist as they enter the tunnel, mage light flickering on as they pass. The other door was already open as they make their way through. Xaden stays close to Violet's side. Garrick and Bodhi kept Zara close as well.

They step into the courtyard. It was still empty, but it be filled soon. The first riders walk out of the dormitory and into the courtyard with cocky swaggers.

"Look who's finally here? Bet you thought you had the games locked down, didn't you, Fourth Wing?" A rider said with a smirk. "But you didn't! Second Wing took it all when you didn't show!" Xaden didn't bother looking at them. Garrick lifts his middle finger and Zara choked down a laugh. Bodhi smirked.

"Guess this means no one knows what really happened." Imogen whispers.

"Then we have a shot of this working." Eya replies.

"And father doesn't know yet." Zara whispered.

"Of course no one fucking knows. They're not going to out themselves over us." Xaden said. At the entrance. Everyone breaks according to the plan. The Marked Ones went to warn the other Marked Ones. Zara quickly drops her bag off in Garrick's room. The plan was for her to leave her stuff in his room along with Bodhi and soon as Graduation is over and Zara and Bodhi were ready to leave they meet Garrick in his room. Zara went to the window and looked to the tower where the burn pit was. Soleil and Liam's stuff would be going there to burn. Violet was saving Liam's letters to his sister. The door opened and Zara turned to see Garrick and Bodhi standing there.

"You alright?" Garrick asked.

"Just not been sleeping well since Resson and now scared we won't survive this." Zara said.
