Zara's Wedding
Anika knew Zara well with the dress. The top was lace and a bit see through with flower patterns in the top with a v neck and the back open. The skirt wasn't lace but flowed to the ground. Zara's hair was pinned to the side.
"I'm so happy for you." Anika hugged her.
"You didn't have to do this." Zara said, hugging her back.
"This might be the last time your home with Garrick graduating and your last two years. We wanted to help them out." Anika said. Zara smiled. A knock on the door came. Cam and Halden entered with a cloak in their hands.
"Gods. They are going to not be able to keep their eyes off you." Halden said.
"What are you two doing here?" Zara asked.
"We're coming to the wedding. All of us. But..." Cam said, sharing a look with Halden as Anika helped her get the cloak on. "We want to walk you down the aisle and give you away."
"Really?" Zara asked.
"Yes." Halden said. Zara looked at Halden. Zara came up to her brothers and hugged them.
"I would like that." Zara said.
They used the servant tunnels to escape.
'We're waiting. I don't think the... Priest is happy we're here.' Adish told Zara. Zara had the hood of her cloak up. It was to hide what they were doing and in case they run into Garrick and Bodhi. 'He does look...'
'You better not eat him. What is with you and eating people. And you eat my brothers I won't be happy.' Zara scolded. Adish huffed in her mind.
'Your brothers and friend are safe, Fire One.' Adish said. They came out to the gardens. Zara saw the moon was bright. She smiled. They approached the clearing not to far from the gardens. Zara pulled the cloak off and handed it to Anika. Anika took it.
"Ready?" Cam asked. Zara nodded. Anika smiled as Zara took both her brothers arms.
They stepped out in the clearing. Zara's eyes were forward. Adish was in the middle with Cuir and Chradh on either side. Garrick and Bodhi stood waiting with the priest. Zara's eyes were only on Garrick and Bodhi. Both eyes widen at the sight of her. Zara never imagined when she joined the Rider Quadrant that she fall in love with two men and now was marrying them. The dragons were standing where the riders were and Zara couldn't help but smile.
They come up to them. Garrick and Bodhi's eyes were only on Zara.
"Who gives this woman?" The Priest asked.
"We do." The boys said. Halden and Cam pressed kisses to Zara's checks, making her smile. Zara took Garrick and Bodhi's hands and her brothers moved over to where Anika stood. The Priest gave one last look at the dragons.
"They won't hurt you." Garrick said.
'Don't tempt me. I smell his fear.' Adish growled in their heads. Zara sent a glare at her dragon. Bodhi coughed to hide a laugh. The Priest turned to the three.
'You do look beautiful.' Bodhi told Zara as the Priest talked.
"You do.' Garrick said. Zara smiled. The Priest talked, but Zara and the men didn't really hear what he was saying. Zara couldn't seem to whipe the smile off her face. Garrick and Bodhi's eyes were only on Zara. The dragons were laying on the ground, watching. Anika wrapped her arm through Halden's arm.
"Father isn't going to be happy." Cam said.
"I rather her be happy with them then with Marcus." Halden said as the rings were slipped on the fingers.
"She told me she give up her title if her father refuses her to be with them or can't rule with them at her side." Anika said.
"When I'm King, I'll let her." Halden said. Anika kissed her fiancé check.
"You may kiss the bride." The Priest announced. Garrick pulled Zara into a kiss and she kissed him back. Bodhi pulled her into a kiss after Garrick was done. The Priest moved away from the dragons as fast as he could. Zara pulled both her husbands into a hug. They did it. And from what Garrick and Bodhi told her. Command knew the two were planning this when they were leaving.
A couple hours later. A knock on the door came. The three decided to consummate the wedding tomorrow night after her brothers wedding since it was late. Zara was leaning against Bodhi on the couch with Garrick in her lap. She was in a nightgown and robe.
"Enter!" Zara called. Garrick sat up as Cam came into the room.
"You wanted to talk to me?" Cam asked. Zara stood up. She wrapped her robe around her. "So what's your new last name?" Zara looked at the boys and they smiled.
"It's now Zara Tavis-Durran." Zara said. Cam nodded. He looked at Bodhi and Garrick.
"What really happened during those war games. Gryphons didn't slaughter two dragons." Cam said. Zara came over and wrapped her arm through her brothers and led him to the fire.
"Cause they weren't." Zara said. Cam raised an eyebrow. Zara told him everything of what happened in Resson and Garrick and Bodhi told him about the weapon runs. Cam kept a straight face through the whole thing.
"So we were right." Cam said. Zara nodded. "And you survived and killed one?" Zara nodded. Cam ran a hand through his hair. "Now I will be joining the Rider Quadrant. I won't say anything to anyone about this." Garrick and Bodhi nodded. Zara pulled her brother into a hug. "We didn't know you were missing."
"Command was waiting till after Halden got married to break the news." Bodhi said. Cam swore.
"Adish said you can ride of him with me when we head back. Maybe there will be a dragon that will bond with you." Zara said.
"Adish bonded with you." Bodhi said.
"Even with us fighting." Zara grumbled. Garrick chuckled.
"And yet we are now married." Garrick said. Zara smiled.
"It's getting late. We got to be up early. Thank you for telling me." Cam said, hugging his sister. Cam slipped out. Zara turned to Garrick and Bodhi, who were watching her. Zara smiled.
"Let's get to bed. We got a early day tomorrow and its going to be a long one." Zara said. Garrick came up to Zara and scooped her up bridal style. Zara wrapped her arms around his neck.
"I'll carry you tomorrow night." Bodhi said. Garrick pressed a kiss to her head as they go to her room. Zara knew she made a good decision as the door closed behind them.
