Chapter 16
Fight

Garrick and Bodhi landed in the flight field with Xaden as they came back from a weapon run. It was late. The men get off their dragons.

"Let's make sure..." Xaden stopped.

"What is it?" Garrick asked.

'Get to Zara's room now.' Adish nearly growled down the bond to his mates riders. 'She's getting attacked by unbonded.'

"Shit." Bodhi growled.

"Violet is getting attacked." Xaden said.

"So is Zara." Garrick said.

"Bodhi. Garrick. Go help Zara. I'll go help Violet." Xaden said. The three take off running.

Zara looked at the unbonded riders.

"I thought she didn't have a signet." A woman said. Zara saw a flash of red hair disappear. Yells came from Violet's room and Zara's eyes widen.

'You and Violet are getting attacked." Adish growled. Zara swore under her breath. 'Garrick and Bodhi are on their way. Hold them off.' Zara ducked as one charged at her. Zara stabbed the guy in the leg and the guy screams in pain as the pants catch on fire.

'Princess.' Garrick called through the bond. Zara put her hand out to stop a girl and ice coated her body.

'My signet. It just showed up!' Zara called to Garrick and Bodhi. Zara blocked an attack from the dagger and twisted the head till she heard the snap of bones.

'We're just getting to the dorms. Hold on.' Bodhi told her. Zara screamed as her hair was grabbed and she was slammed head first into the wall. Stars came into her vision as she hit the ground and one got on top of her, grabbing her neck and squeezing. Zara gasped for air.

'Fire One. Use your signet.' Adish roared in her head. Zara grabbed the mans hand as he squeezed tighter and felt her relic tingle and flames burst on his hand as the door slammed open.

"Shit." A girl said as the man let her go and Zara rolled over coughing as Garrick killed the last two.

"Zara." Bodhi said as he ran to her side as she coughed. Tears coming down her eyes as Bodhi grabbed her shoulders. Garrick was beside her in a heartbeat. Yells came from the next room.

"Violet?" Zara gasped as she held her neck.

"Xaden is taking care of them." Garrick said.

"I'll go see if he needs help. Less..." Bodhi started.

"Go. Both of you. I'll be.. fine." Zara said. Garrick and Bodhi share looks. "They are dead and I'm not to far. Go. I'll call you down the bond."

"We'll be back." Garrick said, kissing her head Bodhi kissed her check. They quickly left. Zara stood up and the room spun as she stumbled to her bed. A headache was starting to form where she hit the wall. She fell and felt a hand grab her. She looked up to see Imogen standing there. Two marked males were starting to drag the bodies out.

"You alright?" Imogen asked. Zara was surprised to see concern on her face.

"I'm fine. Just have a headache." Zara said.

"Your neck is already starting to bruise." Imogen said, helping Zara to the bed.

"You don't have to help me." Zara said.

"Garrick sent us to move the bodies and you looked like you were going to fall head first in the floor. Figured I help you. You are seeing Garrick and Bodhi." Imogen said. Zara sat on the bed.

"Thank you." Zara said. Imogen shrugged and went to help drag the last body out and closed the door behind her. Zara curled up in a ball on the bed. A body joins her on the bed behind her and strong arms wrap around her.

"Garrick." Zara whispered. She didn't hear them enter. Bodhi laid in front of her. Zara closed her eyes as she relaxed in their touch. "Bodhi."

"Violet is alright. She was asking about you." Bodhi said.

"You said your signet appeared during the fight. What is it?" Garrick asked.

"Fire and Ice. I have two elements." Zara said. Garrick and Bodhi share looks over her head as Zara buried her face in Bodhi's chest.

"We'll take you to Carr tomorrow." Garrick said, kissing her check as he pressed against her back. Both men weren't going to leave her tonight. "Sorry we weren't here."

"Where were you guys? You were fully clothed." Zara said.

"We had to do a mission." Bodhi said. Zara raised an eyebrow. She never heard about it. "You are going to be bruised."

"My neck and head hurt. But... There was someone that ran when I woke up." Zara said.

"What do you mean?" Garrick asked.

"Another rider..." A door opened and Bodhi turned to see Xaden standing there. "Riorson."

"Another rider. You saw someone run out." Xaden said.

"What is it?" Garrick said. Xaden's eyes were on her.

"Who was it? Violet saw one as well." Xaden said. Zara closed her eyes as she remembered the flash of red hair and she opened them fast.

"Amber." Zara said. She felt Garrick stiffen behind her. Xaden swore.

"Same as Violet." Xaden said. The color drained from Zara's face. Garrick and Bodhi swore.

"Why? I never had issues with her." Zara said.

"I don't know." Xaden said. He looked at his cousin and friend. "Stay with her tonight. We will deal with this tomorrow." Garrick and Bodhi nodded. Xaden left and Zara curled closer to Bodhi and Garrick kept close to her. Zara closed her eyes.

'Are you alright, Fire One?' Adish asked.

'I'm fine, Adish. Garrick and Bodhi are staying with me. I'm gonna try and sleep.' Zara said. Adish growled.

"Sleep, Sassy." Garrick whispered. Zara turned her head and kissed Garrick. Garrick kissed her back. Zara turned and kissed Bodhi. She was relieved to have them both with her at the moment. All three fell asleep.
