Chapter: 9
A tear rolled down my face, followed by the next... That's how the situation been like for the past half an hour. Every photo of us brought pain and tears, since I can't remember him!The doorbell snatched me out of my thoughts, I wiped away my tears and sniffled, running out of the room.
"Who is it?" I shouted, descending the stairs.
"It's Dylan!" He said from the other side of the door.
I froze, and turned to look at the mirror in the hallway... My eyes were red, and my nose was puffy.
I took a deep breath, putting on a fake smile, hoping he wouldn't notice.
I opened the door, and I looked at him, "hey, what brings you here?"
He gave me a confused look, "nothing, I just wanted to hang out," he said, walking inside and looking at me, I broke eye contact.
"Cool," I trailed off, "had fun with Naomi?"
"Yeah, it was cool!" He was talking weirdly, watching me intensely, "are you okay?"
"Yeah, I am, why wouldn't I be okay?"
His eyes widened, "what happened?!"
"Nothing!"
"Is it Melina?"
I glared at him, "as if you care!"
He looked confused, "what do you mean?"
"Our friend is missing, and you're going out with Naomi!"
"Are you okay?" He wanted to approach me, but I raised my hand to stop him.
"Why would you care? Go out with your girl!"
"Ally, what are you talking about?"
"How could you go out now? Don't you care that Melina is missing?!"
"I do care!"
"You don't!"
"I do!" He raised his voice, "but instead of staying at home having a mental break down, I'm trying to ease the loss!"
I stiffened.
"But apparently you want to suck up all the pain and bawl your eyes out, so I'm sorry if I don't want to join the drama!"
"You think I'm being dramatic?" I raised my eyebrows.
"Yes I do, try going out and have fun! Why don't you go out?"
"Because Melina is missing!" I shouted.
"I know that!"
"But you don't care!"
"Who said I don't?!" He shouted.
"Your actions!" I shouted back."Why are you making a big deal of it!"
"I'm no-"
"Yes you are, you're being dramatic!"
"I am not being dramatic!"
"Then why you are crying, are you jealous?"
"No!"
"Then why?!"
I didn't answer.
"Why?!"
"Because I can't remember!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. My tears came back, rolling down my face.
He froze.
"I can't remember him! I can't remember them!"
"Ally," he said softly.
