Chapter: 18
I tapped my pen anxiously on the desk. My eyes landed on the clock hanging on the wall, it was ticking in slow motion, it's sound echoing in my ears. Every second was a torture, completely painful, it set my soul into agony!"Three," I whispered to my self. "Two," I closed my eyes. "One." The bell rang, and I jumped to my feet. My books were packed in a second, and before the teacher could finish her sentence, I was out of the class and into the hallway.
"Freakin physics, freakin sucks!" I grunted under my breath, pushing my 200 pages physics book into my locker. "How the hell would your big fat ass fit in this damn locker?!" I kept grunting, growling and groaning.
"If I didn't know you best, I would've called you crazy for talking to yourself!" Dylan leaned next to me on the locker, crossing his arms over his chest.
"Wow, what a beautiful way to end this day!" I said sarcastically, "thanks for hinting that I am crazy!"
He chuckled, "come on, it was a joke."
"I know, that's why I am laughing so much... See? Ha-ha-ha."
He laughed, "why so grumpy?"
"Maybe because I am doing crap in physics, I am exhausted, sleepy and hungry, but I have soccer practice," I whined, "so yay me!"
"I will stay with you as always!" He shrugged.
"I appreciate that, but I hate after school soccer practice!" I cried, leaning my head on my locker.
"Come on, I will be cheering for you!" He said. A smile crept onto face.
"Thanks," I sighed. "I hate physics!"
"Speaking of that," he started, "dude you seriously don't wait for anyone?"
"Physics is agony! Of course I wouldn't wait for you turtle slow ass to pack your things to get out!"
"Well, do you know that we have a test next Thursday?" He smiled in satisfaction at my gaping face.
"Are you freakin serious?" I slammed my locker shut.
"Yup," he chuckled.
"Damn teacher, damn physics, damn test, damn school!" I grunted, he couldn't stop laughing at me.
My mood flipped into a one full of sunshine and skittles as soon as I saw the face of my boyfriend. "Hey baby!" He greeted, leaning down to kiss me.
"Oh hey Jordan!" Dylan got between us before we made any contact.
"Hey," Jordan smiled awkwardly.
"We haven't had a bro time in a while," my idiot best friend slung his arm over Jordan's shoulder.
They started talking while slowly stepping away, leaving me behind glaring at the back of my soon-to-be-dead best friend. "Oh my God!" Someone exclaimed next to me, making me jump in my place.
"Shit, you scared me, Naomi!" I breathed, placing my hand on my chest calming myself down.
"Sorry," she smiled.
"Why so happy?" I raised my eyebrow.
"Because tomorrow is the fling!" She exclaimed, "we will dance, laugh, and have so much fun!"
"Yeah the week passed really quickly," I said.
"I'm so excited!" She squealed jumping in her spot.
"But we have to bear with practice until we are ready to party," I whined, hitting my head on the locker.
She giggled, "but it's not a problem with a teacher like ours."
