Chapter: 29
My screams drowned, along with my body. I felt the air get knocked out of my lungs, and everything went black for a second. But then Adrenaline kicked in, and I was able to push myself to get to the surface of the water. I gasped for air, and started coughing as soon as I got out, and the music was blasting. Everyone's "Woohoo" surrounded me, and I felt a sudden urge to cheer with them.
I raised my fists in the air, and grinned. The water level was below my chest, so I was safe from drowning, and it was surprisingly warm!"Ally!" Dylan shouted, getting my attention. I looked at him, and a smile slowly crept on his face, and he extended his hands to me. I grabbed them and got out.
"Are you okay?" Destiny wrapped me in a towel, checking me.
"I am alright!" I said, grinning and looking at Dylan. He ruffled my wet hair.
"Ally!" Austin screamed, coming towards me, and pulling me to a hug. "You scared the hell out of me!"
"Are you sure you're okay?" Destiny pushed Austin away from me.
"Yes, yes I'm great!"
"She's a brave girl," Dylan smiled proudly, engulfing me with a hug.
"Thanks," I closed my eyes, feeling his warm body.
"Oh!" He groaned, pulling away. "You made me damp!"
"I'm sorry," I laughed. "It's getting cold!"
"You need to change your clothes before you catch a cold!" Destiny said.
"Oh!" Austin exclaimed, "I'll help!"
Destiny glared, and elbowed him in the ribs. He moaned in pain, clutching his side.
"I'll get you some clothes from my house," Naomi said. "It's really close to here."
"Thank you!" I smiled at her.
She nodded, jogging away to get me some new clothes. I shivered, and Dylan just chuckled, and hugged me again."I'm really happy you gave her a chance," he caressed my hair.
"Yeah, everyone deserves one."
After going inside, and waiting for a bit, Naomi came back with black leggings and a sweatshirt.
"Thank you so much!" I grinned, as she handed them to me.
"No need to! We are friends, that's what we do," she waved it off.
I looked at her for a bit, then hugged her.
I changed my clothes, getting warm and feeling good. We got back to partying, and playing games like truth or dare, beer pong, and whatever parties have.
It ended at midnight, so we all got in Dylan's car, ready to head home. Naomi stayed with Jordan to help him clean up, which was really nice of her."I can't believe the break has begun!" Destiny sighed, with a grin plastered on her face.
"It's gonna be really boring without you!" I said.
"Hey!" Austin and Dylan exclaimed.
"You have us!" Dylan frowned.
"We are way more fun than Destiny!" Austin crossed his arms over his chest.
"What the hell does that mean?" She glared at him.
"Simply, it means you're boring!"
She gasped, "take it back!"
"Nope."
"Take it back!" She punched his shoulder.
"Why the hell did you do that?!" He exclaimed, rubbing his wound.
