Chapter 17: Skipping School Rocks!

Chapter: 17
"Ally," a sound echoed in my dreams.

"Ally!" The sound was getting on my nerves.

"Ally, Ally, Ally, Ally, Ally," I jumped awake, with a shriek.

I frowned and glared at the person grinning innocently at me.
"Good morning, sunshine."

I kept glaring at him.

His face dropped, "come on, you're gonna get late for school!"

Yup, still glaring at him.

He made a puppy face, his eyes widening and lower lip rolled out, "I'm sorry!" When I didn't answer he continued, "I made food!"

My eyes widened as he put a tray on my lap. "You made me pancakes and tea?" I said softly, faking a tear.

"You've always liked breakfasts in bed, so as a thank you for yesterday I made your favorites!"

"Aw! Thank you," I grinned, leaning to hug him.

The breakfast vanished in minutes, it was utterly delicious! A thing barely anyone knows about Dylan, is that he's a great cook, food is everything to him, and cooking is his hobby.

"Wait, are you going to school topless with sweatpants, or what?" I asked, combing my hair.

"No, I'm thinking of having a day off today," he replied.

I turned my head, looking away from my mirror. "Really?"

He nodded, shrugging.

"Why?" I questioned.

He gave me a look, gesturing all of himself, "I don't want to hear anyone's comments or get bullied again, thank you very much."

"They won't bully you anymore, maybe this is the same case as before, but we taught them a lesson!" I sat next to him.

"Ally, they will use our time of weakness to bully us, even if we spread panic between them, but they are always prepared!"

"Well," I walked towards the mirror, checking my colored skin. "With my bruised cheek, and your black eye and limps, they might attack us."

"Yup, that's why I prefer staying at home."

"I will too," I said.

"I won't push you to go to school, I won't risk getting you bullied again."

I smiled at him, laying on the bed. "Bullying... What a strange thing, how did it all start?"

"Bullying has been here since the begging of humanity!" He thought.

"What do you mean?"

"Like the wars, occupying and taking over countries and such!"

"How is that even related to bullying?" I sat cross legged next to him, the scratches on my feet stinging a bit as I put pressure on them.

"This is the biggest example for bullying! Military occupation of countries is taking over weaker countries, and putting them under the stronger power as slaves!" He explained, "the same thing goes to our school, or any other school. I mean bullying in general is forcing someone to do what the other wants, it is the stronger power beating up the weaker one. It is using that power to force, intimidate, scare and scar the other.

"It is also found in the animal kingdom, not only amongst humans. Animals use their power and attack each other or their territories, taking over their land or group; for example, lions fight over the pack, the strongest becomes the leader of it."
