Chapter 41: WHAT WAS THAT?!

Chapter: 41
My eyes were closed, a smile on my face, and joy in my heart. The wind was twirling with my hair, pushing it backwards. My heart was beating fast from the excitement, rhyming with the song. I opened my eyes slowly, adjusting to my surrounding, which sent more joy to my heart.

The first thing I saw was my bare legs, and blue converse. Looking to my right, I saw trees passing by fast. To my left, I saw Dylan... His eyes were closed, a smile formed on his lips as he sang loudly, his hand moving professionally on his acoustic guitar. His feet were next to mine, on the back of the front seats. I looked there to find Austin and Destiny sitting across each other, laughs coming out of their grinning lips. I glanced at the driver, and passenger seat... Jordan handled the wheel, while Naomi was sitting next to him, they were chatting, and playfully arguing.

It was heaven... Dylan's angelic voice was making my heart dance in glee, and my friends' laughters made me more than happy! I don't know what I was feeling... But it was something beautiful.

"I can't believe it's finally summer!" Destiny exclaimed, squealing and playing with Austin.

Well... You got your answer!

We were all sitting in a rented Volkswagen bus, heading to the beach, because babe, it's finally the season for tanning, having fun, and breaking free from all the handcuffs tied by the school. No homeworks, no projects, tests, drama, or stress... Just happiness, and joy!

Now... The only question left, is how in the hell are we with Naomi and Jordan... The two people who cheated on Dylan and I?

Ladies and gentlemen, you will get your answer. Naomi did a mistake, and so did Jordan. We gave a lot of people a second chance, why not them? So we did... But, as friends only! They like each other, so they are together. The two apologized for the both of us, and wished to stay in any kind of relationship with us, and we chose friendship.

At the end, it worked for the best! We are all a close group, and it was great to have new people in the group who are willing to help, protect, advise, and never deceive, or lie.

Jordan came to Dylan once, asking him for an advice. And Naomi wanted my help when she and Jordan got in a fight, and wanted to fix the problem.

See what I mean? We were supporting each other! And I honestly trust them... Call me crazy, but yes, I do!

Dylan's navy blue converse nudged mine, and I turned to him to find a look on his face. I grinned, singing along, and clapping.

As we continued to sing the song all together, I watched as the road passed by. Trees, fields, and mountains really far away were visible. It was sunny, and the weather was absolutely incredible!

After some time, we were there!
Today is the day I will learn how to swim.

I waited for the others to get out of the van, and I looked at Dylan, who raised two thumbs up, with a grin on his face. I walked outside, and climbed a ladder on the side of the van, standing on the roof.

Wow... It was awesome! The beach was an almost abandoned one, barely any people were there. It was all ours!

I grinned, putting on my sunglasses. I had a t-shirt on, with shorts. This is going to be a great day...
