Chapter: 23
"Don't close the door," Jordan exclaim, stoping the door from getting shut."I don't want to talk to you," I glared at him.
"I'm really sorry, we really need to talk!"
"But I don't think so," I was about to shut the door again, but he stuck his foot in the way.
"Please!" He begged.
I huffed, "what do you want?"
"I want to apologize for what happened, for what I said. I admit I acted like a jerk, and you don't deserve what I did or said."
I stayed silent, just looking suspiciously at him.
"Ally, I am sorry. You're amazing! You will find better people who will treat you the way you deserve to be treated, but please let me be the one. I really like you, and I think we have a connection, and I don't want to lose that, you're special to me!"
"What about what you said about Dylan?" I crossed my arms over my chest, slightly opening the door more.
"I was wrong, you two are just friends but close. I misjudged your actions, I was jealous, I am sorry."
I sighed, looking down at the floor. "It's okay, apology accepted," I smiled.
He grinned, breathing out, then handed me the bouquet. "I thought of you when I saw these, they are nothing compared to your beauty, though!"
"They are amazing," I breathed in their scent, "thank you."
"No, thank you for forgiving me after what I said."
"It's fine."
He smiled, "I missed you! No one texted me the whole day!"
I laughed, gesturing for him to come in. "You seriously missed me?"
"Of course, and I felt horrible after the fight. I'm sorry!" He hugged me.
"Stop apologizing!" I buried my face in his arms, enjoying the warmness. "Oh shit!" I exclaimed, "the flowers!"
He laughed, as I checked on the now-a bit smashed flowers.
"We will get a regular coffee, please." Jordan ordered.
"Who told you to order for me?" I narrowed my eyes at him, playfully.
"Because its your favorite!" He winked.
"How did you know that?!" I asked, since he was right.
He smiled, "I know a bit."
"Oh really?" I crossed my arms over my chest, "what else do you know?"
He shrugged, playing with a napkin on the table. "I know that you're ready to protect everyone, but yourself. I know that you love traveling, because it sets you free. I also know that you put everyone's priorities above yours."
My jaw dropped, "you're so weird!"
"Meh, I'm awesome."
"I also know stuff about you," I said.
"And what are those?"
"You're cocky and arrogant."
He chuckled, "yeah that's true."
I smiled, looking at him. After a bit, the coffee arrived, and the aroma was incredible! The whole place smelled like coziness and warmth, if that makes any sense. This wasn't a date or something, this is only for discussing stuff.
"I've been wondering something," I said before taking a sip.
"Tell me," he replied.
"How did you notice me at school?" I asked.
