Chapter: 37
"Welcome to Bassanova Ramen, what do you want to order?" A Chinese waiter smiled at us."Can you please get us the Tondaku Green Curry Ramen, please?" My dad ordered.
"Good choice, sir. Do you want any drinks?" The waiter asked.
"We will order later," my dad replied.
The waiter nodded, "your food will be right up!" And by that, he walked away.
I couldn't help but look around... The place was so awesome! The decorations, lights, and just the environment made me feel like I was in China itself, and not just Chinatown.
"I've always wanted to be here," I said, looking at Dylan.
"Yeah, it's pretty cool!" He grinned.
"I remembered when you were a kid, you used to dream of going to China," my dad spoke. "So I though you might like this."
I smiled, "I love it!"
"I'm glad you do," he smiled. "So tell me, how are things back at home?"
"Everything is normal," I replied.
"It's calm," Dylan answered.
My dad nodded, "great! Ally, if you like it here, and want to come often, or visit, you only have to ask."
"Alright." That will never happen.
"So, Mr. Burns, how is living here?" Dylan asked.
"It's really good! Everything is available, and easy." Was his reply.
"It's noisy," I mumbled.
"You get used to it," he shrugged... Hopefully, I won't.
After some random, useless chatting, the food got served... And to say it was delicious was an understatement, it was phenomenal! A meal from heaven!
"I have a crazy plan for this break," my dad said as we sat in the Limousine... Yes, a limo! It wasn't one of these really fancy ones, but impressive enough, since I've never been in one!
There was a T.V at one side, and a mini fridge below it, with seats on the side, and the back. There was a cover separating us from the driver.
"What are we going to do?" Dylan asked.
"We are going to visit some places here, then tomorrow, we are going to Manhattan, Brooklyn, Washington, then return here until you have to leave to California," he explained.
"From here to Washington takes almost two days by car!" I raised an eyebrow.
"Who said anything about traveling by car?" He grinned.
Dylan and I looked at each other, confused.
"Why go in a car, when you have a private jet?" He shrugged.
Okay, I wasn't expecting that!
"Are you serious?!" I exclaimed, "you have a private jet?!"He nodded with a proud smile, I looked at Dylan who had the same expression on mine.
"It isn't going to be that bad, after all!" Dylan nudged me, and winked.
I squealed, feeling happy.
_
It was, indeed, not so bad... Because right now, we are at Lions Gate soccer field, watching locals play their hearts out.
"This is so exciting!" I cheered.
"They are so good!" Dylan exclaimed, his voice barely hearable over the crowds' noise.
