Chapter: 11
A giggle escaped my lips, I slammed my hand on my mouth to stop another giggle. I tiptoed in my converse away from the door.

It was 2 in the morning, so mom would definitely be asleep. After being chased, we hung out in the street and drove around listening to music and chatting. Add to that we got drinks from a friend of someone I know... So I was a tiny bit wasted.

The house was dark, but suddenly the lights were switched on. I jumped from surprise dropping my keys.

"Ally?" And then my worst nightmare's voice echoed.

"Yes, mom?" I turned with a forced smile, getting ready for what's coming.

"Where were you?" She asked, a glint of anger passed across her eyes.

I gulped, "I-I was with my friends!"

"Don't lie to me!" Her voice was threatening.

"I swear!" I exclaimed.

She gave me a piercing look, "what were you doing till now?"

"N-nothing," I stuttered, "I was with my friends." A hiccup escaped my lips, I giggled unconsciously.

She gasped, "Alliana Lloyd Brian!"

Uh-oh.

"Are you drunk?" She shouted.

"No!" I lied.

She stormed towards me, "you're sixteen!"

"Stop it mom," I rolled my eyes, "I've been getting drunk since I was 14!"

Her eyes widened, "what?!" She hissed.

"Nothin'" I said, trying to walk away. She doesn't know any of the things I did.

"Ally!" She called, clutching my wrist. "What's with you? I didn't raise you like this!"

"This is my life, I can do whatever I want!"

"Why are you doing this? I provided everything for you! Thats how you pay me back?"

"Who said its about paying back? I'm living my life!" I scolded.

"This is not a life! You're wasting it, you're getting out of control!"

"What?" I raised my eyebrows.

"You're coming home late, you fight, get drunk, get tattoos and piercing?!"

"It's my body, not yours!"

"You're my daughter!"

"Unfortunately, you're barely my mother."

She tensed, "what do you mean by that?"

"Open your eyes, mom! You haven't been with me for the last ten years, and now you come and try to lecture me? I was raised by myself, not by my parents! I barely even see you, you're always at work, and you never ask about me!" I was shouting by now.

"Well, what can I do if we are all alone and I have to work all day?"

"Oh, the working excuse?" I pulled my wrist out of her grip, "you weren't even with me when he was here!"

"What about all the things I did to you?" She exclaimed.

"Like the family trips?" I asked, and she nodded. "You lost me at that ship!"

"I did not!"

"You did! Bottom line, you have no say in my life!"

"You're bringing this family's name to the ground!"
