The bell rung, signalling the end of class. I stood up from the chair, stretched so my body wouldn't feel so numb anymore, and glanced the lecture hall for my friends.

"Jake! Over here!"

I looked over someone's head to see Jay, Sunghoon and Heeseung standing at the doorway. My legs quickly brought me to them, and when I reached, Jay hugged my shoulders, walking us out.

"So...I need tips."

I gave him a side eye. "What, tips?"

He looked down at me, like he knew I was questioning his entire existence, and scoffed. "Are you seriously judging me right now?"

Rolling my eyes, I countered, "Says the guy who asked, 'How do you fill up a balloon with air?'"

Jay covered my mouth and glanced around, while Sunghoon and Heeseung snickered at the back. "Shhh! That was a genuine question I forgot had the most obvious answer okay, I'm not that dumb!"

I chuckled as he continued rambling about how the brain can have short term memory loss if you're on of those people which I totally didn't get half of what he was saying. If anything, Jay was probably the most knowledgeable one here...despite his playboy ego.

"Okay, okay! I get it. So what were you trying to ask me?" I cut him short, and he pursed his lips while blinking nervously.

"So uh, I want to um, ask...Jungwon out?" He peeked over at me, his voice getting softer at every phrase.

I gasped. "Awww! Don't worry, I got you. Jungwon has this...rule? Actually, I don't know anymore," I shook my head as Jay attentively listened, "he told himself he wouldn't date anyone for a whole year as his new year resolution."

When the others gaped at me, I shrugged.

"It was a whole thing-but you know about resolutions, you don't fulfill them like, half the time," I told them, "I mean, if you do you do, good for you boo. But he did tell me now because he's busy trying to find the right person, he's got a type."

"A type? Like who?" Heeseung chimed in, walking by my other side.

"Um, someone who's like, tall. Obviously. Older, is good with kids-don't ask me why," I defended when they all gave me ridiculous expressions, "loves animals, hot enough for him and the person himself, and...oh!"

I turned to Jay, like I somehow knew this last trait was a thing he had. "And a guy who can cook!"

Sunghoon's eyes widened and Heeseung's jaw dropped in a smiling way, looking at Jay who was quite surprised as well.

"Cook?" He repeated.

"Yeah!"

"Bro, Jay loves to cook! If anything, he would prepare a whole feast for guests, like you remember that Japanese curry I gave you?" Heeseung asked me, and I nodded eagerly.

"It was amazing! And you cooked it? Wow!" I shook Jay's shoulder and he blushed slightly.

"You know what's more amazing?" Sunghoon added, "I know for sure Jungwon was dying over it. He kept screaming, 'curry!' while eating like, spoonfuls of it!"

My excited gaze bounced back to Jay's taken aback ones. He bit back a smile, nodding slowly.

"Hm..then I guess I should start cooking more. Tell Jungwon: you're welcome." He winked playfully and I chuckled.

We walked back in silence for a while, until Jay and Sunghoon started arguing who was the better Park, and I fell in step with Heeseung, who seemed slightly out of it.
