Jungwon's POV

The sound of my R&B music flowed melodically through my ears, and I bopped my head up and down to the calming music. My pen made tiny scratching sounds as it scraped across the paper, writing down words.

Suddenly, I felt a low rumble down in my lower abdomen, and I clutched my stomach. "Ugh, I'm hungry."

I took off my earpiece, stood up and went over to the fridge, finding anything to eat. Nothing. Checked the cabinets to find any snacks. Nada.

"Seriously, how are we all surviving at the point?" I grumbled, closing the cabinet door shut. I strode over to the sofa, and flopped down against it. I laid my head against the head rest, fluttering my eyes close...

My phone pinged, and my eyes shot open. I reached for my phone, but my arm wasn't long enough, so I decided against trying and sat up.

The text message on my lock screen surprised me instantly, and I clicked on it.

Little dots appeared, and I didn't know why I sort of anticipated his answer. I mentally slapped myself for even thinking about it. The guy was nothing but a jock, I'm never falling for him.

I hit send, but suddenly realised I told him I was hungry without even bothering to care who he was. Fuck, what was I doing? I quickly tried to delete the message, my thumb hovering over the trash symbol, when I noticed another message appearing. Too late.

For some reason, my stomach flipped. All thoughts of hunger gone and replaced with unexpected, unwanted fluttering. He'd do that? For me?
