Just as promised, the other team bought us ice cream.
We strolled towards the cafe Sunoo worked at, all changed and dried up. We were practically shivering all the way back to our apartments, hopping on the cold sidewalk like the floor was lava.

"We looked so stupid," Jungwon groaned, burying his head in his arms, and I laughed.

"What? Playing nerf war or going home hopping like a grasshopper?" Jay chimed in, nudging the younger's shoulder, and Jungwon glared from under his elbow.

"Both especially since it was with you," he grumbled, which was supposedly an insult but Jay just cooed even more.

"You're so cute when you're angry," he teased, and Jungwon shoved him with his hands. When Jay bounced back with a chuckle, he turned to the window, chin in his palm as he muttered, "whatever."

I met eyes with Jay, who seemed a bit disappointed he couldn't get a bigger reaction. He tilted his head, like asking a silent question.

I peeked over at Jungwon, who was practically sulking, and saw little tints of pink on his ears.

Adverting my gaze to Jay, I smiled.

"Here's your ice cream!" Heeseung interrupted, passing me my cookies and cream cone. He had a vanilla one in his hand, and he scooted closer to me to make space for Sunghoon.

I eyed Sunghoon's cone, which had tiramisu powder and was probably tiramisu flavoured.
He noticed my staring and took a big bite of the ice cream.

Nodding in satisfaction, he commented while taking another bite, "my pheyborate tiramisu."

I let out a scoff when he choked on the powder. Heeseung snickered and patted Sunghoon on the back as he regained his composure.

"Ahem! As I was saying!"

"Enough bro, you yap too much," Jay cut him off, and Sunghoon gave the most dramatic offended expression he could ever pull.

"Me?! Sunoo yaps more!"

"I see how it is, you penguin," Sunoo came from behind, holding his mint chocolate, while Niki came with a chocolate chip cup. "You wanna fight? Let's fight!"

Sunghoon rolled his eyes. "Everyone agrees. Even your boy over here." Sunoo gwuaked in shocked as Niki jerked his head up from his ice cream, and snapped his gaze towards a grinning Sunghoon.

"What the fuc-okay, that was too far Park, TOO FAR!" Sunoo exclaimed, while Sunghoon started laughing loudly at his cherry red face and Niki's stunned expression.

They bickered back and forth endlessly with Niki just tortured in the middle. I sighed and glanced back to the pair in front of me.

Jay was nudging Jungwon's elbow, and the latter snapped his gaze around, glaring in annoyance. "What?"

"Whoa, chill. I was just offering you ice cream!" Jay pushed the cup of chocolate ice cream, with a strawberry in it, towards Jungwon and my friend visibly raised his eyebrows.

"You..want to share?"

Jay took another bite. "Sure, why not?" He munched on a part of the strawberry, while putting some ice cream in his mouth. "Mmph! Such a good combo, you should try!"

"But..it's the same spoon..."

"Tomato tomahto, just eat! What? You saliva conscious?" Jay pushed the cup nearer to Jungwon.

"N-no! I just..aren't you?" Jungwon questioned, his eyes looking up under his bangs.

"Nah. A spoon is a spoon. And saliva-well it depends on how you wanna see it. I just look at this and wanna EAT," Jay explained, grinning.
