Heeseung's POV

"So he saw you?"

The question caused butterflies to flutter in my stomach, and my cheeks tinted pink just thinking about the moment. I glanced away, then back at the screen. "Yeah, he did."

A squeal came from the other end of the line. "Ahh, this is a start hyung! You should approach him next time," Sunoo giggled, covering his face with Niki's hands as he fell back into his boyfriend's chest.

"Mhm. Like the freak I am," I rolled my eyes sarcastically.

"Boy, you don't have all day! Plus, knowing my brother, he's freaking the fuck out of his pants right now," Sunghoon chimed in, looking thoughtful.

"Yeah, and when Jake freaks out, he freaks out like mad," Jungwon pointed out. He tried saying something else after, but Jay interrupted with a big fat kiss on his cheek.

"Hyung-what," he complained, and Jay just cuddled him closer.

"Oh gosh, the PDA," I coughed, causing the couples in this call rolled their eyes. Sticking out my tongue in response, I saw Sunoo blow a raspberry at me.

"Children," Jungwon's voice interrupted our childish bickering, "stop doing that. I don't wanna see your disgusting saliva all over my screen."

"Damn, won. You'd make a good dad," Niki joked, smirking mischievously as Sunoo let out a gasped-laugh.

Jungwon's cheeks tinted pink while Sunghoon started whooping from his end of the call. "Naur way, Jungwon! You would totally fit!" I added on to the endless teasing.

"Shut up! That was nothing father-like!" He huffed, crossing his arms and sulking in front of the camera. We continued laughing anyway.

"Aww, I've never seen you this embarrassed won-won," Jay teased, squishing Jungwon's cheeks while the latter still sat there like an angry ball of fur.

"Nicknames-ew-disgusting-ughhhhh," Sunghoon groaned, silently gagging, "Heeseung, how about we just get together?"

My nose scrunched up judgingly. "With your icy ass? Not a chance." I cackled when Sunghoon let out an offended gasp.

"Okay, but back to business. How did he look? Healthy? Sick? Like the ass he is because he declined to play FIFA with me—what?" Niki looked between me and the other members in the call, "He practically ghosted me! I was in that room moulding because no one wanted to play with me!"

While Sunoo comforted his sulky boyfriend, I took some time to think. Jake did look different. His hair was longer, and those eyes of his did seem to have largely increased in size. Gone the dark black replaced with soft, brown that looked like he had streaks of gold in his hair in the sunlight. And he seemed more mature-

I realised I had said that out too loud.

Clearing my throat, I tried avoiding my friends' weirded out stares. "So, uh, now you know how he's doing!" I chuckled nervously.

"No, shithead. All you told us was you fantasising on how you could possibly want to fuck my brother," Sunghoon countered with a straight face, making my cheeks bloom tomato red.

"N-n-no it was not! You're twisting my words-I DIDNT SAY THAT!" I defended uselessly as my friends howled with laughter on the other line, mocking how I 'dreamily' described Jake earlier.
