Sunshine shone through the windows, onto my face as I stirred awake.
I blinked my eyes open, seeing the bustling streets outside as the birds chirped and tweeted happily.

I smiled, enjoying the peaceful morning call, but it immediately faded once I realised what day it was.
Suddenly, the atmosphere darkened, and I just a felt a whole bunch of gloom slump over me.

Already, messages were coming fast from my phone.

You're leaving today!

Can we hang out now?

One last goodbye at the cafe! Free coffee on the house!

I scrolled down even more, chuckling at me friend's messages.

Jaeyun, we've booked you the earliest flight possible: 3pm today-sharp. Don't be late, safe journeys my grandson.

I let out a sigh. It was only 8am but times flew fast. If I wanted to make use of it, I should get up now.
Quickly, I slipped on a hoodie, some sweat pants, and headed out.
Just before I locked my front door, I glanced over at the one behind me, a sinking feeling in my stomach building up.

I wanted him to just suddenly appear, and then I could tell him everything.
But the door stood shut, and I knew staring at it would bring me nothing, so I quickly locked my door and went off.

The cool morning breeze ruffled my hair as I turned the corner, stuffing my hands in my hoodie pockets so I could keep warm. Up ahead, the familiar sign hung outwards, and I picked up my pace.

Jingling sounds, the last of it, could be heard as I opened the glass door, already spotting two familiar figures at the usual high table.

"Morning guys," I greeted, and immediately, I was tackled into a hug by Jungwon.

"Don't go!" He whined into my shoulder, and I laughed softly, patting his head.

"Ugh, the favouritism shows, hyung. No hug for your one and only bitch?" Sunoo cut in, appearing at my side with his arms wide open.

I pulled him in as we did a small group hug. The cafe had just opened so not many people were there. I indulged in their warmth and coziness, grabbing on to every detail of them before my last few hours.

"I'll miss you guys so much," I whispered, tightening my grip around them as a few tears formed in my eyes.

When we pulled away, Sunoo was already crying while Jungwon let out a few sniffles. "We'll miss you too, hyung. You better not forget us."

"Of course I won't! You guys will always be my best friends. And we'll call as much as possible!" I encouraged and the two nodded.

Sunoo was wiping away his tears while crying softly, when two, tall men, strode in. I didn't need to turn my head to know who they were, because in minutes, arms wrapped around my friend's waist and he buried his face in Niki's chest.

"Aww, why is my sunshine crying? You're supposed to be giving off light, not keeping them in," he joked, rubbing the back of Sunoo's neck as the latter punched him weakly.

"Oh damn, you're crying? I should make you do it often," Jay teased Jungwon, catching a tear that fell on one of his chubby cheeks, and the smaller swatted his hand away.

"Shut up," he grumbled, crossing his arms and turning away in his seat.

Jay stood behind him and pulled Jungwon in by the waist, nuzzling his neck. "You look pretty when you cry, babe."

While Jungwon blushed and tried wriggling out of Jay's grasp, I couldn't help but feel slightly jelous for the both of their relationships. It wasn't their fault, it was mine for not being honest. I just wished I could finally find my match.
